Fun fact: That "goofy professor" you just mentioned, who is officially known as Professor Elvin Gadd (or simply E.Gadd), actually aids Luigi on his ghost-hunting adventures. And the ghost puppy just so happens to be the green-hatted plumber's new pet, Polterpup. As for most of the other characters that come in these sets (ghost wise), I'm not all THAT familiar with them except only two, which are Bogmire (the purple ghost), and the Gold Ghost (the yellow-ish orange ghost).
