before anyone asks where you can watch this, its on the ITV website, you just need a VPN and connect to the UK (or if you live there... you don't really have to do anything i guess) the link is in the description. anyway finally season 3 is completely out!!!!!! im really surprised my last video got so many views lol i didnt think this show had many people interested in it, but beware for spoilers obviously as this is ALL of the seasons as of right now! watch it before watching this compilation! also i might do macaque next... idk if i'll be doing other characters though

I like how Monkey King can still wield the staff and has all of his godly powers, but he chooses to let MK use the staff and even trains him. Dude isn't like, a washed up loser after his glory days, he's still *in* his glory days. He's even proactive about current threats. Yeah, he's kind of a disrespectful asshole, but he genuinely cares about MK. Dude is a pretty cool character.

In the story, Wukong can’t fully take a human shape-only his head. The rest of his body is still very much a monkey and he needs a disguise. Anything else and he’ll still keep his tail.

god i love how OP Wukong is, like - he didn't have his staff - he was still weak/depowered from the battle with Nezha and breaking the seal - LBD was powered up from stealing MK's power and the staff - LBD was being helped by her lackey the mayor and yet Wukong STILL almost won that fight, it's unreal

@@casinopolis He’s WAY stronger in the JTTW :D Only beaten by (most notably/last I checked) the Buddha himself and the Samadhi Fire. Edit: Technically he did eventually beat the Samadhi Fire but he called for backup multiple times and they helped out a decent bit.

Fun fact: Wukong has MULTIPLE layers of immortality, he isn't just immortal he is immortal times 8 (or 9, I forget exactly how many but around that).

Last time I checked he had the way suboti taught him(butchered that spelling), him eating the immortal peaches, the wine, and Lao Zi(Zu)’s gourds of immortality. If we are also taking in account how he scratched his name off of the roster of the dead, he has 5 layers generally speaking.

I'm like super jealous of his lash game both him and Macaque I also think it's interesting how their features greatly differ from the human ones like you can actually see noses and ears and sure the other non-human creatures look like more realistic caricatures but the monkeys have the most human qualities more so than the actual humans and it's just so odd and I guess that's more appealing

What I love about this series is that MK is voiced by Jack DeSena (Sokka from Avatar: The Last Airbender). So in a way, the series is about Sokka being trained by Goku! 🤩🤩

Sure he acts way more comedic than any other character but current threats that he genuinely wants to put a stop to makes him one heck of an immortal being with the best combat skills and freakishly awsome powers that he still uses (Thank goodness). I wish they made him his own series based on this series wukong about his past. How cool would that be.

After learning about the actual Jttw, I cannot look at him the same. All I can think of are the MANY atrocities this little creature has committed and it's just so much more fun to think of as canon when you look at how he acts in LMK. This monkey has killed. So. Many. People. And demons. Just like he said.

Yeah,and personally that's what makes him one of my favorite heros.Dude has committed multiple atrocities and VERY hard to train,they have to make him wear the migraine hat and got kicked out multiple times,but he actually did it in the end,reached enlightenment and be a better monkey.Still not perfect as you can see,but he always tries to! The old Wukong would never admits his faults and apologize,but that's what he does to MK.And my favorite part is how we can see the effects of his personal lessons from his Journey to the West in his training with MK.Not just the positives of him teaching to fight smarter and being reasonable,but also his tendency to handle everything by himself and keeping it from his friends.He gotta learn that he's not still protecting a naïve monk and covering for an insufferable swine and a horse that barely does anything.He needs to learn to not be overprotective of MK and his friends,to not keep secrets from them.Maybe even stop pretending to be a loner,and connect with them even if they remind him of his old friends.

I sometimes like to imagine Dragon ball characters fighting and preforming the actions that are characters are doing. The whole Macaque vs WuKong fight in s1 e9 was probably better than before. Also, his delivery of “You should have stayed buried” in Revenge Of The Spider Queen is just RAW AS HELL!!!

"Do you think I took short cuts?!" Yes, in fact I do, since you stole your immortality 6 times. Quick lesson, Wukong here studied hard in the very beginning to become immortal, but that's where it ends, after that, he erased his name from the book of the dead along with as many monkeys as he could, stole immortality granting peaches, wine, and pills. Then when the gods tried to get their pills back by boiling him in a brazier the only thing that did was burn away his remaining mortality.

Tbf goku was based on the original legends of Sun Wukong, in fact, if I'm remembering right, in Japan, Sun Wukong is named Son Goku [i may be wrong]

@@toxin2518 you are right, dragon ball was originally going to be a parody of journey to the west, it's obviously changed a hell of lot since but in some ways it's stayed the similar, like how Wukong could fight the gods and so can goku.
