This is one of the best original designs from LEGO in years. It looks so finished with no gaps or unsightly colours, it’s as if it were a MOC.

I absolutely love the color scheme in all the Rex sets and figures. It reminds me a lot of the original LEGO agents line of sets, Which is a pretty big part of my childhood.

My birthday was today I got this thing built and I love this thing. It looks so clean and finished and has good detail without going too over the top. It sucks I had to use extra pieces for it because I was missing a 1x2 reverse slope but other than that I was very happy with how it turned out

I’m getting this set for my birthday and I’m so excited I love just love all the blue and especially the green stripe on the side. Love the raptors and rex is pretty cool cool as well, plus it also nice to get emmet as well

This is extremely cool! I like the design and the Raptors are AMAZING! I like the bulk and kinda tanky style of the build and how its been structured! Pretty nice interior, it's really cool! I like how rex has the side printing and stuff for him, which is exclusive and cool! I might end up purchasing this after seeing Lego movie 2, we'll have to see! Great review!

Looks pretty nice as a set, and I love those blue raptors, they are very cool! But it is on the expensive side, better to wait for a special in stores, hopefully, the other sets will have more reasonable prices. And I also want to point out the box art, I really like what they've done, it's quite unique!

That looks quite big to me and as well as the small pieces there are also some larger ones as well. The level of detail is much better too. That's my opinion but I've only just got back into Lego after a long dark age, which was far too long.

I'm hoping this is a predecessor to a high-quality remake of the LAAT/i gunship. Gimbaling techniques on the engine pods could be applied to the gunship's turrets, the storage and hatches, basic construction around the doors... I can see some techniques that would be useful there.

The design on the front of Emmet’s and Rex’s are really similar as well - they both have practically the same design for the undershirt under their vests, albeit a different color. The fronts are the same as well with Rex having bigger more military like pockets

Hey Jang, I have gotten quite a few sets from the newest wave. Do you feel like Lego has really focused on playability? The new sets seem like they have a ton of new features to allow a lot more play. I really enjoy this.

They've been doing this for a while noticed this during the 2017 waves especially with Star Wars. I remember when it was just "here's some flick fire missiles" and maybe the only other "play features" were opening a cockpit or something it's come a long way, a bit closer to the Power Miners sets back in the day those had so many things to do most of the time.

I reckon Rex's back story is gonna be that he was a generic construction worker, identical to Emmet in every way, until he finally had enough of just being plain old construction worker, and left to be the Rex we know him as now.

I wonder what the link is between Emmet and Rex is. They are clearly connected as they are both voiced by Chris Pratt and have similar looks with the design on the torsos and the hair thing.

Idk if this is an already made theory but I’m callin it now, Rex and Emmett are brothers, maybe twins maybe not, but there wear similar clothing, look the same (being the only two characters with og dot eyes and cowlicks) and are both voiced by the same guy

I can imagine there being a plot twist with rex either turning on them and defecting, or he gives up and is not as strong as he thinks he is
