This is a review of LEGO Ninjago set 71776 Jay and Nya's Race Car EVO! This set contains 4 minifigures: Core Jay, Core Nya, Geo Whipper, and Mango Whipper!
Jay and Nya’s Race Car EVO (71776) building kit lets kids aged 7+ play out gripping adventures in NINJAGO® City. The ninja playset features a cool armored race car with two shooters and a detachable flyer and the snakes’ helicopter with rotating blades.

As a Jay fan I’ve been waiting for this set since it was announced. Love that the vehicle looks nice even if it isn’t the most original design, and getting a villain vehicle is so great. Probably gonna pick up this and the temple. Might grab Zane’s mech as well to complete the series of suits

I think the EVO part is adding the blades and stud shooters, similar to Lloyd's car.

This set is amazing, and I had fun modding it with more things and making it more solid. It is the Ninjago Speed Champions vehicle of this year

Technically Nya had that flyer from Lloyd's s14 bike but yeah she doesn't get much other than side builds

I was'nt quite sure about this set, but the fact that it can sit two minifigs and is kind of in the same scale as the new speed champions cars makes it look a bit better to me. It's weird that there are no "evolutions" with it though. I thought the front wing and basically all the pearl gold elements were EVO add ons, I guess it's still possible to remove them anyway, even if the instructions don't mention it. The helicopter looks great, it reminds me of the skybound season, especially the colour scheme. Sorry to point it out, but it looks like you've put the driving wheel on the wrong side 😁

I like this set for sure because of the scale of the car being more universal and will fit better with buildings like Ninjago City. The helicopter is good to for me to put on the roof of Ninjago City

i would add golden 1x1 cone piece to each of back wheels to go on as like say cap for each wheel and cover up technic piece also.

I wanted to get this but I forgot, but when I get that Ninjago set coming out in the spring I'll be grabbing this. I think it's a very nice set, especially with what Nya and Jay are going through now.

I don’t like Kai and Nyas swords. Neither of them match their secondary color (Nya’s is a different blue, Kai’s is red)

Nice review video can’t wait to get this set and all the other sets they were supposed to come to my house today or two days they didn’t come to my house today maybe they’ll come to my house in two days I believe if they come to my house early tomorrow then that’ll be great and better whenever they come to my house I’m definitely going to build them can’t wait also you said we never got a Jay car well we got one in season five and in Seabound

Hey mind just wanted to throw this out there i recommend watching the product animations for the core sets because even though it is an animation in the lloyd car (the inly one ive watched so far) he gets animated with 2 different facial expressions and its not his whole face is animated all the time it just looks like 2 new faces i hope we get them but i doubt it. Anyways just wanted to share this info.

@@NinjagoTheory it’s not too expensive for my current budget, but I feel like it should be 40. Comparing this to the keeper’s village, for the same price, I feel like this set is a little lackluster. I really like it, but I think it is slightly overpriced.

I want this set for everything but the Jay car. I just completely despise it bc it looks like a speed champions car with various blade pieces thrown onto it.
