A lot of ninjago is really hit or miss but Motm, skybound, s1 and hunted are something special

I agree with 3/4. Hunted I love it’s my fourth favorite, I think they did the dual storyline well, I’d give it a 9/10. S1 was just a great beginning to the series that developed all the characters in much of a better way, overall I couldn’t have asked for much of a better first season I give it a 9 as well. And then Skybound just hits different. Love that season. Romance, villain, suspense, ending, pacing, the season just completely works for me. 9.5/10 imo. However, I think Master of the Mountain is the most overrated Ninjago season imo. Personally I think Cole’s arc was kinda ehhh, I mean it concluded well with the burst in the finale, but besides that it was average. I also hate the humor in the season. I think Vangelis is a boring and stereotypical villain. Besides Vania the other side characters are too obnoxious for my taste. Most of the episodes are either boring, obnoxious, or just uninteresting to me. I do love the finale a good bit, but besides that I did not like this season. Overall, Master of the Mountain is a 5/10 for me.

I remember watching your first ranking from a few years ago and I thought it was the best ninjago season ranking I’d ever seen on KZfaq. This ranking was just as good if not better. I may not agree with everything but your analysis of each season is REALLY good and you’ve made a lot of excellent points that I haven’t even considered.

This list is a lot better than most I've seen! My favorite season has to be Sons of Garmadon. It nails humor and it's dark tone.

I don’t get the hate people have for it “iT bRoUgHt BaCk GaRmAdOn AnD tHaTs BaD bEcAuSe Of ThE mOvIe” Dammit the dark tone really works and I love that the show grew up with its original audience. It really works for Lloyd’s character and I really love everything about it

@@theplushiecrew1486 the hate they have for it is that they ret conned 2 very useful powers of the ninja and brought back a villain who was used for 2 seasons and redeemed and basically through all his development out the window. Not to mention the edgy tone isn't like many other seasons which kinda takes fun out of ninjago that people were hooked into by. Also they changed many of the ninjas characters and made them comic relief. Not also even mentioning how the focus seasons suck and many of the personal problems the ninja face isn't in their character to have a problem about. I could say much more but they definitely changed it enough that a lot dont wanna watch it anymore.

Wow, I watched your previous ranking and enjoyed the video, even if I disagreed with some placements. I would easily place Crystalized in last place in my ranking just because of how absolutely infuriating it is. Upon release I was a defender of it, but I was just stupid because it’s really bad. whilst a fair bit of the rankings on this video are really accurate (crystallized and rebooted), i feel like some of the placements are just entirely off. a lot of the criticisms on season 2 shouldn't really stand. something that a lot of people forget is that at that time the show was that this was supposed to be the last season (it was so successful the show expanded), prioritizing essentially the green ninja as the main character. so there's only about 2 real "filler" episodes to start off the season, everything from there including the mega weapon all serves a valid stronghold to the development of garmadon and the episodes in between child's play and the end of the filler episodes are perhaps his best character development until season 8, and these episodes are still wildly entertaining. the conflict at darkly, ninjaball race and going back in the past all serve valuable themes reiterated throughout the rest of the show. when lloyd's growth is done, the season shifts the tone towards garmadons wrongdoings on dark island, and the rest of the season flows together really nicely.

@@MyZimeCharts I just rewatched the season right when u commented this lol. Yea I agree it’s overrated, I don’t see why I also agreed that it was the best. It’s below sea bound in my ranking Imo. I like the hook but season 4 had a better story and feel to it.

I wonder if I will ever find a youtuber that actually likes crystalized. The season has way less problems then people make it out to have. It's all just recency hype. They were like this with march of the oni when it aired, and now 3 years later everyone suddenly changed their minds about season 10.

Exactly. Couldnt agree more. On the dot. 100%. Crystalised has to be the most enjoyable season across ninjago. My only problem are it being kinda rushed, the crystal council losing their motivation, oni lloyd appearing in the show for 20 seconds, and not a single consequence

Okay what the fuck. I know Possession should’ve been way WAY higher than it was, and it was definitely better than fucking sky bound. Zane voice changing was not a gimmick running throughout the show, it did that for 2 and a half episodes, and they carried it on to not create continuity errors. This also gave us the rise of Nyas water powers and the phenomenal Morro, not to mention the introduction of Ronan. I respect your opinions, but I do think it should’ve been at least in the top three

@@Elico-du1oi yeah no because you're completely right imo. Skybound is easily more emotionally written (that is a fact) as Nya and jay were the main focus but possession developed all the ninja and had a more permanent effect because only Jay and nya remember what happened in skybound

it’s not being mean😂. Skybound is fundamentally flawed in many ways and Nadakhan a stupid villain. On top of that nya’s character is used as a damsel in distress in the last episodes. I do like most things in this season like Jay forming a team of anti-hero’s and friends we’ve seen like Skylor, captain soto, and ronin. This season isn’t exactly bad but is flawed. Also the main villains motivation IS to bring back Djinjago but it feels like he’s really just trying to get an arbitrary amount of power above all else like the overlord. This season is flawed in some aspects but even if it wasn’t it still wouldn’t be the best imo. It doesn’t shed some light on nya and jay’s relationship and turns jay into an interesting character, but the rest of the ninja are done horribly like in master of the mountain because we barley see them amount to anything before jay brings them back in the end. To conclude, this season is flawed, but it is still really good in a lot of ways. I simply like other seasons better. Low-mid A tier (def not S).

@Lit Gaming What they meant by that is that it’s the last season to this current storyline. We are getting a whole new show sometime this year. And it’s safe to say that it’s going to be the same characters based off the leaked picture that we got of Lloyd. You’re reasons for hating Harumi’s redemption and Lloyd’s Oni arc are pretty understandable. But for me, I actually did like Harumi’s redemption. Once she fount out the Overlord was the one who created the Great Devourer, she immanently realized that the Overlord lied to her about bringing peace. If you remember, that was the point of her plan in Sog. Everything she did in that season was to bring peace. Crystalized just did a bad job explaining that. I do think Harumi’s redemption arc could’ve been better, but I’m happy with what we got.
