I have both. I'm 3/4 of the way through the Porsche and am going to do the Turbo version. I'm super happy with this series from Lego and hope they continue it. I would definitely like to see all printed parts instead of stickers; some of my old Ferrari kits - the stickers eventually dried up and flaked off.

The supercharged Mustang sure is great for display, whereas the white 911 is kinda boring... until you MOC the 911 and build it into a Countach instead. I'd say buy both, neither will disappoint.

Just completed the Porsche, set 10295. Was a lovely building experience. Enjoyed every moment. I chose the Targa version. Because I love open top cars. If you like Porsche, this is a lovely, worthwhile set to invest in.

Can you build it from targa to turbo anytime, or do you have to choose one and thats it?

@@kalledenhertog You can choose any version you like. Build from one version to the other, as the set comes with extra pieces..

If you desire the Targa(without the roof) you build the roof, but store the roof in the boot. At any time, you can switch to a turbo version by removing the roof from inside the boot, and placing the roof on top and visa versa. Hope this answers you question.

Great comparison. Thank you! I was wondering how these would stack up against each other. Two AMAZING Lego car models! I have the Mustang and LOVE it and I just saw the Porsche in person and was impressed. Well done Lego! BTW I also love how Lego gives you 2 display options for each model. You can have the regular Mustang or the hot rod version and with the Porsche you have have the Targa top or the Turbo. Nice! Just makes these models a better value.

@yunqinfenn dan Thanks but I was actually looking at the 2021 Mustang Ecoboost with the High Performance Package and the Handling Package with a 6-speed manual. Already specced it out and now looking for the best deal. 330+ horsepower close to 30 MPGs and more low end torque than the V8 Mustang GT and all with better fuel economy. Ford did a great job with that car.

Both models are excellent, but the Mustang feels superior. The tinted windows and less colorful bottom of Mustang looks visually more appealing. It also has properly hinged doors with no gap. However, the wheel wells and overall shape of Porsche looks really good and no stickers is a huge plus. If I really had to choose only one, I'd go for Mustang. Luckily, I don't, so will definitely pick up that Porsche also. Happy days. To be honest, with models looking as good as these, I feel that Mike really needs a do-over with that DB5.

I couldn’t decide between them so I ended up grabbing both. The mustang looks amazing, can’t wait to build the Porsche, apparently it’s a very clever build

@@BrownProductionsTV Definitely look up turbo targa mod for the Porsche. I had to order a few extra tiles from bricklink, but the end result was well worth it.

To be honest, all of them are unique in there own way. The ford has great attachments, while the Porsche has two models in one. I would buy both of them. joke: people when they don't hav money for a noice car:

I made my Mustang right hand drive it’s just simple just follow the instructions and access everything is built on the left but you can swap everything around belt on the right that’s how I did it

even with the price increase, it was still worth it to get one of these. went with mustang for personal reasons. however, the Porsche having 0 stickers is a major selling point

The scale for porsche is a bit larger than the ford. But both cars are a must have for lego car enthusiasts.

The Porsche 911 74' is 25 cm narrower than the Mustang 1967 in the real world. But the rest are in a quite real proportion.

My Munstang hood doesn't close all the way, does anyone else have this problem? It hangs on the two gray, diagonal struts in the engine compartment.

I personally prefer the look of the Ford Mustang. The color alone already (blue v. white) makes it more interesting. But also the original car`s angular form makes it easier to build in LEGO at this scale, Porsche is round, and round is difficult to capture.

This Porsche would be even better, if it were more colorful. Green or dark red etc. The white color is a bit boring.

I agree with you on that, But white is the German racing color, So I guess that's why they did it. I hadn't even thought of the dark red yet, But it is a nice color.

The color is what makes the set boring to me. It looks so plain. I like a little eye catcher, and this doesnt really do it, especially next to the Mustang.

These arent in the same scale, in real life the 930 was 4,29m while the mustang was 4,66m long, with was 1,70m for the 930 and 1,80m for the mustang (height was nearly the same) the lego mustang should be wider and longer, rn the porsche is closer to the vw beetle and those cars
