Hello do you know if the Mindstorm set 31313 comes with everything needed to make a rubik's cube solving robot or would i need to buy other extra parts in order to make one or should the set come with enough to make one without buying anything extra? Thank you very much.🙂👍✌

That’s the set we used (a few years ago now) but no additional pieces were required.

in the video the program shows to be good but trust me my ev3 is doing some moves that are really different from the video ones

Normal sized cube, 3x3, available ok Amazon, best bet is a speed cube as they turn much easier. Good luck.

+Muhammad Hassan - Not sure, it should just work, is you cube a proper Rubik ? or a third party ? If its third party it may not recognise the colour, another thing to try is doing it in a well lit room ...

Showing "RESET TILT" on the display. but arm and color sensor is positioning and later only red blinking and "Reset tilt" is showing. please help me out. its urgent for one exhibition

Did you code this yourself? Also, does the cube need to mixed up in a certain way to be solved?

Squidmeister question 1: no. that being said, I could devise a system with 2 sets to have it simultaneously find the necessary moves, and actually execute them. question 2: knowing how a rubik's cube works, no. cube solving methods use different moves based on how the cube looks, guaranteeing a solve no matter how you mix it up.

+Squidmeister No we got the code from mindcuber, the cube can be mixed up however you want, its always possibel to complete.

+red terminator - In theory more sets equal faster solve time, the world record for cube solving is 2-3 seconds and uses 4 NXT sets and a Galaxy S2 to make the robot...

+MIKAEL'S LAB Its just uses the parts from the Ev3 set, its the colour chooser that is needed along with the Infra Red sensor.

Which version of the EV3? What firmware do you have? Did you install the Color Sensor RGB Block?
