I really like some of the building techniques. The crowing bird necks were clever, and using hands for the coat-hanger was something I know I wouldn't have thought of - and of course, as always, the stopmotion is on-point and amazing.

Sick days are a lot more fun when you're younger, you're full of that child energy and the excuse to stay home from school makes you even more excited. As you grow up, even a cold just plain *sucks* depending on how bad it is, first your throat burns, then your nose runs and your lips become chapped, then it's dry coughing and a stuffed nose, forcing you to breath through your mouth which becomes cold and dry. Ugh! At the very least, even a cold is generally accepted as a reason to stay home, most jobs just simply tell you that you don't have to specify *why* you're staying home, just not to do it all the time. Regardless, I work as a maintenance and environmental custodian where I'm wearing disposable gloves 90% of the time and using disinfectant-cleaner solution so that's probably how I avoided that flu that was going on last month.
