After A LOT of requests, trail and error, I’ve finally designed the Mazda RX7 with working Pop up headlights in Lego! And here’s the “Behind the Build” video of it. Hope you will enjoy it, and don’t forget to check out the instructions for it at my website🤗

It looks amazing. The RX7 is really hard to make it right with Lego. Now you have to do the FC3S.

This MOC is truly perfect! The overall shape looks amazing but I'm impressed with the small details such as the side vents, shape of the doors, and obviously the pop up headlights.

Awesome job David! Incredibly clean build. You aced the rear window, I think that's the hardest part when it comes to building RX-7s. Also another great montage.

The Pop Up headlights are *REALLY* nice and realistic, mostly LEGO makes their pop up headlights blocky like the Ferrari F40

Sometimes KZfaq really recommends me some masterpieces. This right here is one of them. I am a huge Initial D Fan and was therefore always looking for some cool models. I wouldve never imagined to find one that is minifig scale and so extremely well done

This is just so cool! I remember making a few minature lego guns and it was difficult to put a few working features, but implementing the pop up headlights in such a clean design along with other techniques mustve been difficult!

The working popups is a thing, but everything else on the car is so epic! It's unmistakably an RX7, realistic from every angle, my favourites besides the popups are the rear windshield and the working doors, also love the interior, the wing! Actually I love the whole model haha! If someone made a ranking of your models, this would definitely be in the top 3 in my opinion. I'm looking forward to see the project d duo together, so good luck for the 86 Trueno!!
