It's NOT. If you go with weight for piece ratio, it is same as falcons! Maybe I will buy it on a Christmas sale next year. :)

I hate all the the "of colors". This is a UCS it is just really bad by lego that they did that. But everyting else is good i guess (except the minifigures)

I think that's completely fair, the SD is amazing, but the Millennium falcon is just superior. I think it's because, being minifig scale it simply allows for better detail, interiors that make sense and crapton of minifigs

@@Noodles-The-Hunter-Vanguard I do have this habit where I align each piece as best as I can according to the orientation of the "LEGO" print. That probably slowed me down a bit. While I've never been diagnosed with OCD, I wonder if I have a bit of a trait.

Is that true in the new canon (apologies, I scarcely follow new canon but am well-versed in Legends canon)? I remember according to Legends Ryan is correct as that is a comm tower, and the tractor beam antennas are the small dish pieces on the underside just forward of the larger main hangar bay. To me that would be the weirdest change if that tower is now labeled as a tractor beam antenna; why would such an antenna be located there? Wouldn't that require such an antenna to acquire a lock on a target THROUGH the ship itself? Why not have the antenna right next to the area (the hangars) where it would be most useful? But then again, I still like to believe the domes atop the bridge are sensor arrays as well since exposed generators doesn't make sense to me either.

@@JonathanAntillies0 it's not canon at all but in Battlefront 2 (the original) the domes up top and the big dome on the bottom were shield generators.

@@austinkoeppen6122 Oh yeah, I forgot about that too. The domes atop the bridge have been referred to as shield generators as far back as the old X-Wing and TIE Fighter games. I think the idea behind it was to such least give the ship some sort of "weakness" that the player could exploit, and that makes perfect sense from a gameplay perspective. Just like how the point at the very front of the ship was a destructible warhead launcher, I used to blow that up and use the hole to fly inside the ship and shoot it up, perfectly protected from any enemy fire. XD

I think I saw a comment on another video that said a minifigure scale deathstar would be nearly 43% of Mt Everest. I don't know if thats true but I can imagine it being gigantic

@@matthewpiazza3608 First off, I really appreciate your wording. He mentions when he films on it. Most notably its in the great gap and on 2 grill pieces on each side, but basically everywhere where two parts meet at a difficoult angle you can see color shining through, espacially with his lighting. Normally this does not bother me. But again, we are talking about a 700€ display set here. And I know its quite pedantic, but for a amount of money I could live off for 2 months I expect better. I also know its me having this problem, and yes, I won't buy this set for 700€ for this reason. I would if it was perfect, because it is undeniably a beautiful model. Also, for me it kinda goes against the premise of the detailing. Let me put it this way: If you put this much griebling on it, you certainly want to draw the observers attention to the details. By doing so you reveal all the weaknesses. Its just not necessary. I have similar feelings about the Technic Land Rover. There are a very limited number of blue pins on the surface of it, which in some shots really shine through the olive green paint job. It looks really ugly. I have never complained about blue pins before, not in other Technic sets nor in UCS stands and alike. But if it looks that bad on whats mainly going to be a display model I just don't understand it. (The reason for an easy build does not count for me. If you spend 700€ or 200€ respectively on a Lego set you most likely have enough expierence to build in a monochromatic scheme. I would also endorse the idea of building the insides of vehicles in black and greys and the paint job color to get the desired contrast. In my opinion a Star Destroyer should not have any green, red, yellow, brown or tan colors in it at all. I really believe that everybody who is capable of building the colored structure is also capable of building a black structure.) The main reason why it bothers me so much is because it would be very easy for Lego to just not make it (to be honest: I don't understand why they do it in the first place), it would not cost them any more and we would have a better looking model. Its quite late for me right now, I will search some time stamps tomorrow if you want.
