It is almost embarrassing how much I love the Queen Amidala minifigure in this set
I recently got this LEGO Star Wars Gungan Sub (9499) as a gift from my husband because I'd been really wanting the Queen Amidala minifigure that only comes in this set. If we had just bought the Queen Amidala minifigure, it would have almost been the same price as buying the whole set, so he got me this set new in box! I built this set on a live stream recently and it was so fun to build! This set is much better than I had expected and I can't believe I finally have the Gungan Sub and my Queen Amidala. The other minifigures are Qui-Gon Jinn, Jar Jar Binks, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. I was initially not too thrilled about these other minifigures, but after building them and seeing them up close I couldn't be happier. This set was worth every penny!

Emily: this is such an amazing LEGO Star Wars set Anakain: because of Kenobi Lol I agree this is one of the best ever sets LEGO has made form the prequel era

I regret not getting this set. The wild thing is this is the first time they actually made that version of Amidala even though she was part of the Episode I Lego logo.

I think the ‘zoom call’ is trying to imitate at the start of the movie on the droid ship that nute gunray is on before he takes control of Naboo warning her to surrender.

Hey Emily this is a really cool Sub. I would personally like to see this wall mounted to show off the top details. Secondly there is a website called Wicked Brick that sells stands and display cases maybe you can find something there.

Just like princess leia with the dress piece and the X wing, doesnt fit with the set but its a cool minifigure (and its more fun for kids to play with to have different characters)
