For years the community has been saying “Lego would never do that” when it comes to Star Wars but this list proves that they’re changing. They dont always do it perfectly, but i think there’s no longer anything out of the comfort zone of the design team when it comes to sets

The xwing/tie set being able to swap wings definitely goes back to Rogue squadron. Maybe not the movie, but the books often describe pirates flying 'uglies' which are ships made of random parts. One is an x-tie with the xwings on a tie fighter. Another one is the tie-wing which is the tie hull with ywing engines and is super slow and unshielded, often called a die-wing.

The fact that most Uglies combined the weaknesses of the parent ships is something I really appreciate, adding a touch of realism even in a galaxy far, far away: Not every combination is a good one, with the only exception that comes to mind being the Y-TIE.

Have you listened...? Even if he’s off by 20% with the price, 90$ for 558 pc. WTAFF??? That is an insane amount of money for 4 figures, of which 2 to 3 will probably be basic af, and a few bricks with that. Together with Legos latest quality problems that will probably rear their ugly head again this is absurd! How can someone present this set and not immediately point out the insane pricing and all... thats why I really don’t like most US Lego Channels because they are uncritical as hell... you guys should definitely demand better!

Another thing about the Boba Fett minifig in the Sarlacc Pit set is that, if they do reuse the one from the mech, it’ll be inaccurate since that one is based on his ESB armor which is different from his ROTJ armor. His wrist gauntlets are green in ESB, but red in ROTJ

Wow!! This looks fantastic!! Everyone seems to be so stoked for Jedi Bob (which is really cool, I just got the original in perfect condition), but honestly I’m more excited for Cal!!!! I spent all of last summer playing Jedi Survivor. I watched your video on the custom Mantis Stinger, but I doubt they’ll ever make that. So this is the only way we could ever get him. That’s awesome!!! Jedi Bob’s 2nd figure is probably gonna be an Astromech. But regardless, there is so much to look forward to this summer, I can’t wait!!!

Honestly, for the Dark Side Falcon it would be really cool to get Krssantan as the Evil "Chewbacca", 0-0-0 as the Evil "C-3PO" and maybe BT-1 as an Evil "R2-D2". But I don't think LEGO will pull that off

holy smokes i’ve been hoping & waiting that Lego would do a Cal Kestis, this is so exciting man. i love to see them taking risks with new ideas too, hopefully this means they’ll finally do Galactic Marines & Bacara next year for the ROTS anniversary.

I hope if they put a Boba in the UCS Sail Barge it’s the more accurate, all-gray jumpsuit version from ROTJ. We’ve only ever got one of those and I’d love to get a new one with fancy UCS printing.

Hell yeah, I love the Jedi bob starfighter ! Including a Random unnamed Jedi in the OG gunship was amazing, cuz ep2 was full of random Jedi fighting in the arena. This is fantastic!

I'm hoping for Wedge in the x-wing. Maybe fighters are just going to come in double packs from now on (I'm excluding Bob's because that is obviously aimed at older collectors) which sort of makes sense from a play perspective, but I imagine some kids that like to save up their pocket money for a new set might have their patience tested now they only come in expensive twin packs.

I just ended building the Kenobi jedi starfighter set, like 5 minutes ago, so I will wait for the Jedi Bob's one to keep him company. I also love the Scimitar!

In case of TIE fighter and X-wing we could get ofcourse Rebel pilot, Imperial pilot, astromech and last on Imperial side could be Space trooper which have seen on frame when Falcon is tractot-beamed into Death Star.

I'll be getting the Jedi Bob's Starfighter set, of course. I also can't wait to see this new one next to the original, which I've had since its original release.
