i mean, well, its pretty unfair to compare one that is the 1:10 scale to one that is a 1:8 scale to the real life one, but yeah, i bet if lego do made a 1:8 version, it would still be worse than this

Thankyou, appreciate the comment! Started working on it earlier in the year, I had lots of time due the intense covid restrictions where I live. For the bodywork, I printed out a front, rear, side and top view of the car in 1:8 scale. This helped immensely as I could just place panels and the like on the printout to see what they looked like and get a better understanded of where I wanted to place stuff. Don’t be afraid to use standard LEGO bricks as well, technic doesn’t always suit everything. The rear, the front lights and the doors all use lots of system brick elements. Also keep in mind the colour you choose makes a big difference. Eg: dark azure is good because nearly all the main technic panels come in that colour, but a lot of the connector type pieces and flex axles don’t... this made certain areas like the front arches really difficult. They’re still not 100% accurate but a believe I did the best I could in this colour. Meanwhile something like orange has a lot more options in terms of connectors and flex angles, but not all the main panels come in the colour. The most notable being the longer 5/6 panels, which this car uses 6 of each. Sorry I don’t really post that sort of stuff, but for my next model I’ll be mindful to take more wip pics to share later on.

Thankyou! Stick shift no, as the actual car doesn’t have one. Paddle shifters for sure but I couldn’t make it work the way verything else was set up. I didn’t have much space to work with and couldn’t think of something compact enough.

It could be argued that the world does not... I would love to try and make a Koenigsegg at some point!

Lego won't make a Mclaren senna

There is going to be a Lego Technik McLaren Senna in 2021for 50€

You can’t compare a 1:8 model to a small scale one. This model currently isn’t at my personal standard to have other people making it. I’m working on something else atm and then I might revisit this model
