This was quite the build. The precision of this machine was very impressive and the use of cucumbers was a perfect idea for the resemblance of logs and for the applicable nature of the machine. The fence, playground, and the scene with the tree branches at the end was a nice touch! You did such a good job on this from start to finish. I don't think any factory machine of this sort can top this.

You are right, it takes time to cut the cucumber and not to break the tiny saw. You may see that the saw has only one end attached to the lego push mechanism, the other end is in the air. Would also like to know! I do however assume that it is manually controlled as it looks like the machine is "touching up" some minor mistakes in a few places of the video. And it would probably take a lot longer to program it to do all of this than to control it manually, if it's purpose only is to be used for a video. Must say that no matter if it is programed or not I enjoyed watching this master piece! :D

Thank you for creating smile on my face this morning at first - and my jaw on the floor a moment later. The precision of the machine is great - and even the speed. I have built some LEGO machines and I know how hard is to get a reasonable speed and precision, limited by the motor power and not so rigid lego pieces joints. Would be a nightmare trying to get the accuracy needed while using only LEGO motors and Mindstorms logic 😱 That's a big arm with significant slack, dealing with inconsistent parameters and poor sensor resolution... This is the most impressive use of Lego Bricks I've ever seen! Excellent work! Was it all planned out before or did you have to make lots of modifications as you built?

I'm pretty sure it's remote controlled with multiple BuWiz units.

Yes, it is remotely controlled 7 BuWizz bricks. These are normal PF Lego motors, no intelligence.

@@thomashuber8130 it is so easy to control the arm, it took some practice and the power and weight (it is very tall arm with 3 motors and a battery) of the arm could easily push the pin inside without a predrill holes. Thanks for asking

I’m pretty sure I already know the answer and it does not detract from how spectacular this is, but in this creation are you operating the crane remotely or are you simply pressing start and letting software control everything from start to finish? If the later I am considerably more astonished. Either way it isn’t like we have the capability to eliminate human control in construction in real life so it is still super impressive.
@TheBrickWallTeam

Yes it is human controlled. Not the simplest thing to automate.

Amazing job!! I saw in a comment below that it was manually operated by you. Next step would be to add sensors and a small cpu, and implement an automatic mode. Not sure how realistic that is though considering you're working with lego and cucumbers haha

Hokay, since nobody want to say it I’ll just say it. There needs to be designated versions, stages, or iterations of LEGO system. Iteration One: standard LEGO brick you step on in barefeet. Version 2: Empire State Building with total disregard for color scheme but functional space antenna. Level 3, millennium falcon. Stage 4 or 5: 3D printed cucumber house, depending on power source. World 8-4: Proprietary matrix-style simulated reality where floor is lava, only relief is occasional LEGO brick to step on, and Princess is always in another castle.
