The long awaited film has arrived.
German Blitzkrieg tactics have spearheaded through the Soviet defenses. Due to poor planning the Russian 3rd army, 13th army, and 4th army have been surrounded in the city of Minsk.
6 months of work, 5500 pictures. Lego WW2, The battle of Minsk

11 out of ten rating! Motion was smooth, the soldiers speaking German and Russian was on point, and that muzzle flash is epic! The vehicles also were driving and turning realistically, and the Germans charging in the beginning was put at a great angle! Now I understand why it took so much time and effort to make this masterpiece. And I also like that it was 11 minutes long.

Pretty good stuff. Try to eliminate any natural light/ get a camera which can lock exposure, focus and white balance and that will help a lot with reducing any light flickering

Thanks! I do have a camera that can lock exposure and stuff, but my lighting is not very good. I have been using little 8 dollar clamp lights. Hopefully at some point I could get some better lighting. Thanks for the feedback.

I just love how smooth the whole thing was. I thought it was funny that bird got shot by artillery. And how the for drinks the vodka grenade before throwing it.

This probably the best ww2 stopmotion on youtube. It just has everything: awesome stopmotion, good camera quality, great story lines, good movement and fights, amazing camera angles, just the best. 10 out of 10.

around 8:00 the German pulls out a pistol well.... now i'm assuming this soldier is anywhere from a shutze to underfeldwebel so he would not have a pistol he would be given a bayonet that would be his secondary weapon. good animation really liked it..

I edit on my laptop, and I use an actual camera. I use Corel video studio to edit, it allows me to do a lot of stuff.
