New Jersey Transit Bus Compilation along John F. Kennedy Boulevard

Here is an NJT compilation of buses on the 10 & 119 along JFK Boulevard alongside some buses on the 33 A&C Bus IBOA & Broadway IBOA. Featured are the following:
-2008 NABI 416.15 5248, 5263, 5267, 5288, 5292, 5403, 5404
-2010 NABI 416.15 5699, 5705, 5708, 5715, 5723, 5733, 5735, 5737, 5739, 5740
-2011 NABI 416.15 5852, 5856, 5879, 5881, 5906
-2013 NABI 416.15 6464, 6482, 6484, 6493, 6494, 6495
-2020 New Flyer XD60 20825, 20891, 20892, 20902, 20905, 20906, 20907, 20910
Notes:
-All Route 10 and 119 service are no longer operated by ONE Bus and now operates under NJT. As a result, a couple of NABIs and XD60s were shifted around earlier this summer.
-Route 10 operates of a mix between Greenville and Meadowlands garage. Route 119 mainly operates out of Meadowlands but has a few Greenville trips too.
-A few XD60s from Hilton (20825-20828), and Fairview (20889-20891) were moved to Meadowlands for the 119 as ridership has been high on that Route which requires articulated buses.
NABI movements from ONE Bus
-6041-6050 to Meadowlands (6048 returned to ONE Bus in November 2022)
-6051-6056 to Hilton
-6189-6192 to Orange
-6193-6196 to Ironbound (6193 returned to ONE Bus in October 2022)
-6197-6200 to Communty Coach (was originally intending to go to Washington Township I heard)
-6201-6204 to Egg Harbor
-6205 to Salem County Transit (why this couldn’t go to Egg Harbor is my guess)

The Broadway Bus is also included here. One of the few privately run bus routes in NJ. It doesn't have a number. It has a different fare from NJT and you can't use the NJT app to pay.

And the sign doesn't tell you the destination. For some reason, it tells you what day it is.

Not a huge fan of the XD60s, but I’m glad they’re using the old NABIs for the #10 & #119. I even remember that they would sometimes use the XD60s for the #10 route which was extremely rare.

Same at least. I do like their XD60s over the ones at WMATA but I miss the Neoplans a lot. Sometimes you’d also see an MCI on the 119 but every time they’re on it I’m either out of town or out of the city to catch it.

@@DCTransitFilms I’ve heard that the Neoplans weren’t that good anymore. They could’ve made newer designs of the neoplans & use ‘em on the routes the XD60s are on. Their XD60s are ok, but I dislike them. I don’t even ride on ‘em that much anyway.

Neoplans was at retirement age by the time the XD60s came in so they retired. Neoplan also went out of business years ago which is why Neoplans are dropping like flies around the country. I personally don’t got an issue with the XD60s I just miss the Neoplans

@@DCTransitFilms the only problem I have with their XD60s is they’re not high floor buses & the seats not being comfortable. Other than that, they’re fine. I’ve heard that all the Neoplans have been scrapped & they didn’t keep any.

Yeah they didn’t keep any Neoplans. I haven’t rode the XD60s yet but I did hear those seats were stiff. Suburban seating I wish they still did but I believe transit wanted to run them on non suburban routes as well or something like that

At least these busses come to pick people up, Coach USA never comes to pick people up.

@@DCTransitFilms They have terrible service, complaints from passengers about "waiting an hour" are very common. There is also the issue of misconduct from drivers at times, my friend explained how she was passed several times by a driver in the past after a disagreement. When she went to the office in Elizabeth, the representatives at the service windows were lazy and unhelpful she explained.

@@blueoak5262 Academy was AWFUL 😭. The 10/119 stops right in front of my house so it's very convenient, but I had to rely on the 30 and 80 since academy would always skip trips and it would mess up my travel. For nine awful years, since academy operated the 10 bus since April of 2012, did we have terrible service. Community was a little bit better when they took over in June 2021, but they often had the driver shortages which meant skipped trips. At least the drivers of community were nicer than Academy.

I'm surprised because I used to ride the Coach USA buses back then in the early 2000s it's been 12 years since 2008

@@michaelharrisjr Two drivers passed me intentionally on my way home, third picked me up but it was a Woman who I recall passed me before and pretended not to know the drivers who didn't want to do their jobs when I asked. This company is a sham and gets away because the mayor's don't care, neither does Murphy and the public is basically ignoring it instead of protesting. Disgusting company.
