Join me for a ride on LEGOLAND Florida's BRAND NEW ride - Pirate River Quest! A pirate themed boat ride that takes you through the waterways of the beautiful Cypress Gardens, on the Sea of Lost Bricks, and out onto the Lake Eloise, as you hunt for treasure and help Captain Redbeard break his curse and head back home to LEGOLAND! You'll encounter treasure stealing monkeys, LEGO gators and skeletons, a shipwreck and more fun cute adventures for the whole family to enjoy as you travel on waterways that have been closed to guests for years! This new attraction revives the Cypress Gardens portion of the park's tradition of a boat ride, and is family friendly and offers stunning views of Florida nature, plus fun LEGO scenes that go with the story of the ride! We also check out updates to MINILAND USA and take a stroll through the Cypress Gardens Botanical Gardens! Enjoy and thank you!

Once when eating waffles, I told my kid to Leggo My Eggo, so he threw a bunch of Legos onto my plate and I spent the next half hour washing sticky syrup out of all the little Lego holes. It was a blast 😢

Loved this video Jackie!!! Lego Land looks soooo cool and fun!! The Pirate ride is so awesome and so much fun!! The garden is so beautiful and peaceful just walking around!! I agree that part of the park-cypress gardens can be easily overlooked or forgotten . It’s been several years since we were there but I always enjoyed it. With this great new addition I think it will highlight/ remind all guests how beautiful and peaceful it is. Thanks fora another great video. You are the best to “ go with”.

Preservation is most important thing about the gardens. And I think that showing the original waterway the way it was just educates and entertains at the same time with the ride.

I need to plan a trip there and take my grandkids. I think they would love it. I remember Cypress Gardens and seeing the ski show when I was a little girl. It would be nice to see that area again. What a lovely day! Thank you!

I like what they are doing with the Cypress Gardens section of the park. I really enjoy how the pirate ride is on an actual boat being operated by a person and not stuck to a track like most rides.

Haha yes, I think I'm extra joyful about being in the sunshine right now lol! But yes totally agree, love that they found a cute way to blend the old and new and let us travel the canals again! Looove the bit at the end of the boat ride where they mention how historic Cypress Gardens is, it almost made me tear up!

What a cute little ride! Having never visited Legoland Florida, we had no idea that it was so closely interwoven with Cypress Gardens - or that the grounds held so much historical significance to Florida itself! It was really neat that they brought on one of the OG captains from the Cypress Gardens team, and the ride itself seems like tons of fun for all ages 😁The spider nest reminded us of the spider attack scene from Forbidden Journey; not quite as intense, especially in broad daylight, but still a cute little nod. Those water jets made us nervous, but you managed to escape without getting wet! They did a really great job of paying tribute to Cypress, too, and providing a little bit of education for the riders. So glad that you were invited out to take a tour of the new attraction, and that you were able to take us along for the ride, too! Thanks for sharing, Jackie!

Oh Jackie it brings back so many memories when I was a kid my parents would take us to Cypress Gardens. I wish I still had the pics of me with the Southern Belles. I miss the botanical gardens and the boat rides. I moved away to the North Carolina side of the Smoky Mountains. But Im so happy they kept the gardens and now have this boat ride. I will have to visit next time Im in Florida. Thank you for sharing!

yay! i go back every once in a while to see my favorite banyan tree so i’m excited that the boat rides are finally up and running again. i grew up around there so the old, historic part is my favorite. 💜

I wish places like this were around when my children were little. I absolutely love all the trees and the Spanish moss. I would like to just walk around the park. Definitely stay at the Legoland Hotel!!

It’s so great to have you in my neck of the woods! Maybe on one of your adventures you can visit Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales. I can see the carillon tower across Lake Wailes (fun fact: it’s spelled differently than the name of the town) from the back windows of our house. Absolutely lovely place to visit, especially if you enjoy nature. Highly recommend!

What a Great Calming Beautiful Ride Combining the old and the new creates a perfect combination for Now Legoland and Cypress Gardens are each Amazing in their own but together The old closed Cypress Gardens combined with the New Legoland brought AN AWESOME Ride walking and touring. Love this new boat ride addition! It’s NEVER crowded here either…go on rides multiple times in a row. I think I need to repay another visit 👍🏻 I’m thankful for the covering over the miniland also as it will save the legos from getting dirty out in the elements too!

I loved Cypress Gardens as a child when I was growing up in my home state of Florida. I have old home movies of the skiing shows, the pretty belles in their large dresses, the flowers and the boat rides. I had no idea it was in Legoland. Thanks for the brilliant tour. It was lovely.

Great to see this part of the park restored. I just loved the old Cypress Gardens and especially the boat rides. This has brought back so many memories of great family times walking around looking down on the boats going by and the southern belles in all their varied colours. The water ski show was always great fun as was the poinsettia festival in the holidays with all its pretty lights. Happy days.

Yes We were at Legoland in the early days of its opening, so a few years ago and were disappointed as adults. But our Grandson arrives from France in mid-February so we are going to go back there with Him, like in all the other Florida Parks.

Such a cute ride and a lovely time! Wonderful to see them incorporate the old and new. I think I have a postcard from Cypress Gardens, but I am not sure if I actually went there as a kid. The shots of San Francisco Miniland made me laugh with how condensed the landmarks were and how bad the Lego people parked. I wonder if they put little sea lions on the other side of the Pier 39 replica. The Vegas Strip recreation is very, very accurate, though. Such amazing work! Thanks again for a delightful video! Nice to see all that sun and great weather while here, in California, there's rarely a break from the rain as we're only halfway through like 3-4 weeks of an atmospheric river. Happy 2023, and looking forward to new videos!

Jackie we loved this video. We have been on the fence about going to Legoland. I think this video sealed the deal. Btw Kay says your smile makes you look so beautiful. She's right of course.
