Oh no!! Just heard the incredibly sad news of the death of David Soul. I was 10 when this hit song reached No.1 in the UK. And I can remember watching this edition of TOTP! I can remember holding my tape recorder close to the tv to record the song…telling everyone to shush! 😢 I’m now at that age when I’m seeing stars such as David sadly leaving us. Thank you David. What would life have been like without you, this song and “Starsky & Hutch”? Soul’s like David make life more pleasurable. Goodnight David. RIP.
