The humbleness in this interview...so very ‘90s !! This is how Bollywood stars gave their interviews back then, till about 2002-2003 !! Life was simples & no amount of stardom made them give airy interviews. Akshay was red hot in 1996 ( year of this interview) after a solid 1994 BO record ( Mohra, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Suhaag, Elaan, Yeh Dillagi) & after Sabse Badaa Khiladi ( 1995). But just how he spoke, so subtly & so grounded....man even a newcomer in today’s Bollywood won’t give an interview half decently as this. It’s not just about Akshay per se , it’s the era altogether. The ‘90s were the last decade when simplicity was there in every walk of life! Wish we could go back ☹️ . Today, the artificial nobody’s of social media who do a shady C-grade web series with their beard oiled & hair gelled by celebrity hairstylists , 8 pack abs are all VAIN when it comes to humility & class of the ‘90s.

His body language was completely different back then. He started loosing hair after doing this movie and also his muscle mass.

@@onelifetimeinadream yes, now it is fake.. you can see his lots of movies which came in 1998-2000 he has long hairstyle in one scene and short in another, he started loosing his hair around that time.

He had long hair back then. He changed his hairstyle (cut his hair short) because of his films failing at the box office between 1997 and 1999. I think around 10 flop films. He changed his looks with Sangharsh and Jaanwar. Hair loss happened much later due to age probably. Also if you notice for some reason he also started waxing his body hair from Andaz onwards. Body language definitely changed. The raw action hero image was no longer helping him. Again Dhadkan and Andaz kind of looks were more successful. He was the last action hero with this body language.

@@americaksushantkinazarse5747 What you are saying is partly true, the back injury happened during the action scene in Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi which released in 1996. He kept doing similar action roles till 1999 with same kind of hairstyle, i.e., movies like Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi, Lahoo Ke Do Rang, Daava, Aflatoon, Angaaray, Keemat, Barood etc, Well you can argue that these films were delayed due to his injury and got released later on. I am trying to join the dots with his films and his hairstyle and looks in them. Maybe you have inside information. He definitely had an image makeover in 1999 due to his failing films and found his foot in comedy and romantic roles. Action films were not trendy anymore.
