Leica like mono images on Lumix S5, film simulations

2 жыл бұрынThought i'd try to go for a hint of Leica monochrome on my Lumix S5 this time. The L mount has ties to Leica so why not have a go!

Fantastic Natalie , will be heading to the lakes next week and two Carnival parades over the weekend and will definitely give those simulations a try :)

I love these images, I love the retro film look - thankyou. I'm going to apply your settings for a walk this weekend. The S5 is a 👍 camera - but I'll be using my wee gx9. Thanks again. 😊

Can you do this with Lumix G880? Does it have a picture profile settings?

I checked the GX 880 manual, page 229 and it does have a similar raw processor, so in theory you should be able to get a similar effect, however it seems to lack the grain options. Should be possible, as the look of an image is often from the contrast and luminance of the colours!

Thanks for this great video! I was never happy with the 'flat' B&W files coming out of Lumix cameras. Images turn out a bit too dark to my taste on L Monochrome so I applied your settings on L Monochrome S. The result is exactly what I was looking for indoors, should do some test outside later. Question now is to add the grain or not, I am not sure yet.
