Goddamn the rendering of this lens is beautiful! The bokeh is just soo pleasing and it sharp aswell. Yeah i really need to get this one. Nice thing is its also very affordable. Great review once again , love your photos man!

Looks absolutely amazing. Thank you man! I was waiting for your thoughts on this one! I might still go for the Voigtländer 28mm 1.5 type 1 because of the 250g weight vs the typoch 330g. But the image quality is undeniable! Lovely video man!

Your photos always impress, from composition to editing just a great look/depth to the photos. Curious on your thoughts for this lens paired with an M9. I won't have live view to help and not sure how the view finder handles 28mm, I've only had a 40mm Voigt so I don't even know what its like to actually use frame lines to my benefit haha.

@@jwanger142 I never use the live view on the m10, the 28mm frame lines are on the m10. Not sure about the m9 but figured it would be out to 28mm 🤔. You may want to look into that! Thanks so much for the compliments and for watching the video 🙏🏼

It's a cool lenses, the 10x price for Leica lens it's like luxury LV, doesn't mean it's 10x better. PS: Can pick your accent, what state you from?

Great question, it does not actually. I kind of wish it did, I like a good flare but they did a good job of controlling it. The only character I’d say it has is the background separation due to those 14 aperture blades. I’ve never seen so many in a lens.

Nice lens! There is also one for us Fuji users, but that version doesnt make much sense unfortunately. Overpriced and honestly not that good. Similiar to Voigtländer it makes more sense for you Leica guys due to prices of Leica stuff

@@venom2k2 yeah I mention that there’s one for Fuji in the video. I think having the crop sensor kind of creates a strange focal length around 40mm for this lens. But a lot of people adapt Leica glass to Fuji so 🤷🏽. Works well on the Sony for sure.

@@hunterhart1 I needed a second matching body and just bought a second Canon R6 II. I’m a little sad further entrenching myself in the Canon ecosystem. I think I might get a third APS-C body and the dual fisheye VR lens.

Enjoyed this video a lot! Great variety in shots and some incredible photographs. I had the opportunity to test drive a 28 Lux (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fbBhjbxp0LTacac.htmlsi=bdICLl6Zgx5HltCA) and was left very impressed (both by IQ and price 😅). This Thypoch seems like a bargain and very good value for money

I would never touch a lens of a Chinese make because those companies have produced look-a-likes in the past. Also they have no heritage in photography.
