Great little snippet. Randomly came across this video on KZfaq after I DM’d you on Guidefitter. I’m still torn on which binos to buy. The Leica geovids and their crappy customer service/warranty? The Swarovski EL range with their awesome glass and reasonable rangefinder? Or the Vortex Fury with the mediocre glass and good laser with THE BEST Warranty on the market?

Hey, Thomas, I am glad you enjoyed the video. I like my geovids and have had no problems with them over the last 3 years. That being said my friend had some issues with his. His experience with customer service was not pleasant. I really like the glass in the EL the glass is amazing and picks up light well. However, the end caps suck and the rangefinder is not near as good as the Leica. Now, the Vortex is new to me, I have only look through a couple of them in the field. So I can’t recommend them to you. But with that warranty, I don’t see how a guy could go wrong with the Fury.

The new EL Ranger TA is better. I also have a pair of Leica’s 3200

just because you can aford a pair of good glass does not mean your smart enuff to adjust them . pull out on adjustment knob to fix the diopter

I have a hunting friend who is 62, from MT, been hunting all his life. He called me and said his new Leupold scope would not focus and he said he would need to wear his readers/glasses. 😅 i laughed and told him you know you can adjust your diopter on the front eye piece and he had no idea 😅. He thanked me he was so happy 😊

I would hands down get the vortex great warranty if you need it leica is the worst warranty in the industry i jnow from firt hand experience. I will never buy a leica product again or recommend to a freind.
