Leiden (2023) is a beautiful city in the province of South Holland, the Netherlands. It is a historic city with a University since 1575. Leiden and its subburbs has a population of 270,000. Leiden has an impressive medieval centre and many artists and painters have lived and worked in Leide, like Rembrandt and Jan Steen. Like Amsterdam, Leiden city has many canals.
