Bert Westwood was a garage proprietor from Clacton. Together with his partner Iris they would take part in a bit of motor sport, often filming their events. In amongst their films there were some that had nothing to do with racing whatsoever. These reels of celluloid captured a time when life was led at a more sedate pace.
Here we see the couple on the beach on possibly not the warmest of days. But the dog did not seem to mind!
