Just to correct the record, Jake Shimabukuro is playing a Tenor Ukulele not a guitar. Quite appropriate that the concert was in Blackpool (often associated with George Formby and his 'little stick of Blackpool rock') and to have a virtuoso of the ukulele. Interesting to see how far the instrument has come from the 'jokey' songs of Formby (who actually played a Ukulele Banjo/Banjolele).

The dress cost £4500 and is covered in Zarovski crystals........but because our Bette is so small they had to cut about a foot (12" inches) off the bottom, she wanted to keep the cut off to use as straps.....but it ended in the bin!!!!

I miss being with Bette Midler , I wish I would have said and did things different . Bette liked me a lot but I didn't pick up on what she was trying to tell me . I wish I had another chance for us to talk again .. The Bette you all see here is not the same Bette I was with . ..I still remember everything what we talked about and all those personal questions she asked me ...I really Believe Bette Midler And Kurt Snyder Would of been known years ago and today . Bette knows we were together years ago and she knows that she asked to sit next to me . very very close Bette was by my side . And I bet she still remembers when she took her shoes off and rubbing her legs and feet saying to me oh my feet are so sore " But like Bette said in a TV interview I never look back ..in other words she was saying , you had your chance but you blew it ! Hey I'm not ashamed to admit it .. Lol " I had a chance to sing to Bette And rub her legs "" But I didn't do it . Great talent I’ve loved for years. But, like a lot of entertainers she lost my respect by voicing her political views against our President. Dolly Pardon said I’ve got fans of all parties. I’m a entertainer so I keep those views to myself. Think more entertainers should be that way.
