They are so fun to play with aren't they? The very first ones that came out ALL of the girls had the pearly effect on their skin but many people in America complained because they didn't like the pearly effect and they made their skin matte on the ones after. I personally love the pearly effect on the dolls and I think it makes them look unique! I also like to style their hair, so I always wash all the hair gel when I buy them and then re do the style but without products so the hair feels softer and moves naturally. They always have many colours in their hair but in some it is more subtle, like Ruby has 3 different shades of red in her hair and Poppy has white and pink mixed with the orange, Sunny also has different shades of yellow mixed in! :D I am so excited you are enjoying the dolls as they are my current favourite brand!

Wow, thank you for the new facts. I didn't know that American people don't like the pearl effect on the doll's face. I'm looking forward to seeing a doll with matte skin. I think I'm getting into Rainbow High dolls❤️❤️😚😚

@@SINATOY The Korean ones (Royal 3) all have matte skin, also series 3 and 4 all have matte skin, The brand ended it's first phase with Fantastic fashion (The ones in runway dresses) and now switched the concept to be more children oriented, so they lost articulation and now come with glitter and slime, I personally think they are pretty and like them, but preferred the more fashion focus and articulation on the dolls... The new concept is being referred to by the fans as Generation 2, I am trying to complete the set of Generation 1 dolls I am missing only 8 to have them all! :D So I am almost there! I like Gen 2 but I am not planing to buy the whole collection anymore only characters that stand out. I am so glad you are getting into Rainbow High!
