On Monte Elmo, the new “Hasenköpfl” system replaces the dated 3-seater that currently transports passengers to the 2,200-metre peak between Versciaco and Sesto. Set against the incredible backdrop of the Meridiana di Sesto, the world’s largest stone sundial, the chairlift offers a luxurious ride on heated Premium Chairs with weather protection bubbles and a boarding system that is safe for children to use.

I wish I was born in Europe...😢 The technology and craftsmanship in these lifts is something the U.S. could never handle. Glad to see some parts of the world are thriving.

The US has clearly handled it considering the US has a bunch of new D-Line 8 packs, 6 packs, and gondolas. North America has caught up to Europe in the last 10 years with Ski lifts

@@johnsmeith3913 At least in my opinion, the Leitner-Poma merger has caused the US to lag behind in terms of competition to doppelmayr. The LPA terminals and lifts themselves look, and are, cheap. Other than Doppelmayr (and a few other minor companies) there hasn't been much progression in the US.

Werden eigentlich die Beförderungs Gummiräder in den Stationen mit den Seilumlauft angetrieben oder befindet sich ein eigener Elektromotor dafür

Hallo @technikfreak8928, die Stationsförderer werden (indirekt) durch das Seil, welches bei der Ablenkung über Rollen läuft, angetrieben. Die Förderer sind mittels Keilriemen miteinander verbunden. Somit ist immer gewährleistet, dass bei einer Reduktion der Seilgeschwindigkeit automatisch auch die Stationsförderer langsamer drehen. Das gesamte System muss exakt synchronisiert sein, damit gleichmäßige Abstände der Fahrzeuge in der Station und am Förderseil gewährleistet werden. Beste Grüße

Hey Your new Leitner-station is just super! What strikes me is the new station of Doppelmayr: they have made their dising too angular and too large. While Leitner stick to a compact beautiful station.

Warum sind bei euch in den Stationen auf den Datenblättern nicht Baujahr und Förderseilhersteller gekennzeichnet?

Hallo Manfred! Wir mussten uns aufgrund der Größe des Schildes/Datenblatt entscheiden, welche Daten wir abbilden, damit die Schrift nicht zu klein wird. Daher hat man auf diese von dir erwähnten Informationen verzichtet. Beste Grüße
