Lekato Ukulele - Mahogany Concert Ukulele Review
Lekato have sent me this lovely looking ukulele to review as it has recently been released. I have tried various Lekato products but have never played one of their ukuleles. This model is Mahogany (laminate) with cream binding and a sun rosette.
Lekato asked me to review but certainly did not tell me what to say about the ukulele, this is my own opinion of it.

Looks decent for a first Uke. Useful for a beginner to get the bag and a tuner with it too.

Pleasant and informative review of a pretty generic uke. Reviews of modestly priced ukes are important to newbies or relatives looking to buy a first uke to get started off with a decent playable instrument. The strap is a bit of an "Oops". Thanx, Rachel.

Thanks Alan, and yes nothing special but nothing wrong with it either. I know the ideal answer is to buy from a music shop but people WILL buy from Amazon (I have myself) so I do think it is important to review them too but you know me, it will always be an honest review. 👍

Hi Jo, Thanks for all the lovely comments. 😊 I’m hoping to go over to spend a few days with them later in the Summer, maybe towards the end of August. We’ve been trying to work out a good mutual date for ever! Are you going to any uke festivals over the Summer?

@@UkuleleWales no festivals for me.. still got a bit of recovery to do.. But playing all of the time. I follow Graham Hall he’s on KZfaq. Loads of songs worked out for the uke.. like you, he’s got a lovely way of communicating. Anyway hope all good with life for you . Jo x

Hi Rachel, I'm hearing a string/fret buzz around the third fret on the E string (I think) when you strum. If it was only once I wouldn't comment but it is prevalent during your "variety performance" several times.

Hi Tobias, my bad technique I’m afraid. I did rush upstairs to check but definitely no fret buzz (I do always notice and remember 😉) but having watched the video I noticed a couple but I also see my finger ON the fret! 😳
