When life gives you lemons, make this delicious and easy to make lemon dessert cups that will melt in your mouth! Everyone will ask for more! No baking skills required and ready in no time! Surprise your loved one with these gorgeous yet simple to make desserts with only few simple ingredients.
RECIPE (makes 3 x 220ml cups)
20g (2 tbsp) cornstarch (corn flour in the UK)
75ml (1/3 cup) water
75ml (1/3 cup) fresh lemon juice (from 2-3 lemons)
100g (1/2 cup) sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
75g Madeira cake, vanilla cake or vanilla muffins
250ml (1 cup) whipping cream (minimum 33% fat)
1 tsp lemon zest (from 1/2 lemon)
Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.

شكرا جزيلا عزيزي! نعم بالطبع يمكنك استخدام أي عصير، إذا كان العصير حلوًا فلا تحتاج إلى تخفيفه في الماء، فقط العصير بدلاً من الماء وأيضًا قد ترغب في ضبط السكر حسب العصير 🥰

Merci beaucoup mon cher! Ramadan Mubarak! Vous pouvez conserver ces desserts au réfrigérateur jusqu'à 3 jours, mais ne conservez pas la crème dans les sachets, car elle durcirait dans les sachets, préparez-les simplement et conservez-les prêtes dans les coupelles. J'espère que tu apprécies 🥰🥰

My lemon sauce didn’t thicken…. … any ideas what I did wrong?

Have you used correct ingredients? Cornstarch (cornflour in the UK) is what thickens the sauce. The only why I can think of is that you've used actual cornmeal instead of cornstarch?

Somehow I got more lemon sauce and when I added it to the cream it wouldn't thicken when I whisked and the cream just turned into liquid 😢

Make sure it’s completely cold when you add it. Also very important - don’t over whisk, otherwise it will become runny. Stop whisking once stiff peaks form and if any lumps left just mix with spatula, hope it turns out good next time 🩷

@@eazyandyummy Haha it was a bit liquidy but it hardened in the fridge and I still have 4 cups full left ❤️ it tastes really good actually even though I think I might have added the lemon sauce before it was completely cold . Thanks for the recipe it's delicious
