This breezeblock will ALWAYS contain my fondest memories of being in my 20s, traveling across the western United States. It was the best moment of my life....I was 32, single, had a new car, I was working in radio as an air talent and production director, I was at my physical peak, and was solid in self confidence, ready to take on the world and reap all the rich rewards life had to offer.....I was moving from Texas to Oregon. I was in love with life, and life loved me back..... I wish i could go back, and do it again.....that part, i wouldnt have done anything different....that was a truly magical, amazing time..... i know i should treasure the Now.....i know i should appreciate this time as the best time of my life....but i cannot. You see, I ruined it all. By moving back to Texas, to take a radio job some "friends" had lined up for me, and to see about a girl, who also worked in the industry and was smitten with me...... If you eant part two, ill write it. ...

Please please please write part two. Greetings from a soon 31-yo guy from Poland, single after a dramatic breakup 2y ago, now enjoying the peace of being alone. I am really curious!!!

Someone who isn't me may or may not have found this on Limewire back in the earlier 2000's and may or may not feel blessed to have known such music growing up.

yeah i was out to find every breezeblock thing i could at the time, and when this came across it was so incredibly different, so much more beautiful, so much more work put into it, what a trip, a work of art. i've played this for dozens of people. it is something that stands on its own, not to be compared with other things, there is no second best to this.

Listened to it live on bbc radio 1 for the win.

@@baconology3065 Look up osymyso mix. I recorded every single mix from the breezeblock for 5 years. Osymyso mix is still to me the best and most accomplished. Liam Howletts mix was a close second along with Lemonjelly and Avalanches mixes.

@@rosscoghlan did you record the tipper mixes?! I have one of them but there's another one that's pretty rare.

@@TeddehSpaghetti do you know what date it was? I have a couple hundred minidiscs and some recorded on cassette from pre 1998.

Man, ive got this on cassette somewhere, Mary-Anne Hobbs, where are you these days?? ❤😍 breezeblock mixes were straight fire, osymyso, crash slaughter, mix master mike, those were the days 😎

@15:30 I guess I missed the part of the 90s when it was cool for Michael Jackson to squeal his love for babies.
