I',m not sure about the poppy seeds but I would definitely like to make this with raspberries and raspberry puree mixed in that cream cheese centre layer. A really nice light dessert with intense distinctive flavours. Thanks to everyone involved in creating this video and having such great background music.

I have a variety of cakes. I made a cream cheese frosting too, to which I added condensed milk. It’s soft. For now it’s in fridge. I’m thinking of adding white chocolate to get a firmer frosting. Hopefully I’ll get what I’m more comfortable with. I may do two versions. A video will come soon. ( I am having difficulty - my lower back is out of whack. Lol. ).

May I ask something please? I adore lemon curd but usually when I try it, I can understand or smell that specific and not so pleasant taste of the egg???? I used free range the same result😭😭😭. If I use only the yolk and not the egg white the result will be the same????? Which one on them gives that characteristic taste???? Thanks in advance ❤️!!!!

What is poppy seed ? Is it the one that blooms when we put it in water ?

I like that this recipe does not mix lemon and poppy seeds into the whole cake. When I mix everything, it dilutes the curd and weakens the lemon flavor. I will try separate layers next time.
