These lemons last for months, become far more medicinal & create delicious umami flavour.
Culturing lemons indeed extends their shelf life. It is certainly the least expensive option to buying lemon preserves but also so easily made. Then there’s the fact that pickled lemons are far superior nutritionally to regular ones.
These lemons become loaded with prebiotic, probiotic, antioxidants and a much higher nutritional content. Preserving lemons compounds their medicinal value to include prebiotics, high B vitamins, Omega Fatty acids, antioxidants, anti stress & anti carcinogenic properties.
