that is the WORST use for the 99 item at the 10k gil machine!! that item gives you Flare, Freeze or Electron(or whats ever its called) break dmg limit and FIFTYTHREE uses of the magic you create, and THE best crafting item for magic in the game. So selling that is the worst possible thing you can do to get alot of money quickly. If you just want to farm gil quickly, head over to the rest are near the volcano(dont remember the name atm) pick up the hunt for the Wyverns, rest at the camp site and eat the mother and child rice, equip Sword of the Wise and kill the Wyverns. The Wyvern wings sell for 1600 gil each, and there are 7 of them to kill. With the food buff and the sword equipped, you should get the wings to drop on every one, giving you 7 each time to complete the hunt. This also levels you gladios skill if you havent maxed it out yet. Doing this hunt is also the BEST way to power lvl if you use expiracast and have a moogle charm on each character. (I got around 90k each time I did the hunt, saved up just shy of a mill exp and went to altissia and spent the night in the 30k room giving me 3x exp, so you do the math and see how many levels you gain.) So this tip you gave here, is pretty terrible advice.

it's not really terrible advice if you can stomach playing the game more than once as the reward can be earned multiple times. Much easier and faster to gain gil this way

what things should be kept till later in the game that you can sell like treasures and stuff

As in the things you pick up in the world or the ones won from this? The ones in the world I pretty much held onto everything til end game. As for the treasures from the game, You can seel any low ranking items that have similar effects. If you get an item that increases your HP by 200 but you already have one that gives you 500... sell the 200 HP one. If you are looking for gil early on I would say that hunts are the best way to make gil.

I'm glad it was easy to get such cool equips early on, but the game really offers no test. I would of liked it to get a bit harder/ interesting as you go up the stages.

People have said they go through the whole game without ever having to grind. Others like to be overpowered. Me... i like to be as powerful as possible as soon as i can. It's up to you. Efficiency wise; I would say mid-late game would be fastest.

Yekkt The first time I finished the game at level 49. So if you just want to finish the main story you don't have to be 99. However once you reach chapter 9 like Yekkt said, it's better because of the 3x hotel. thanks for all the help, one last thing whats the best level to be at each chap (b4 power grinding) so its not to hard to fight. im level 34 and just freed the birds from being a dining to something huge. (it was farily easy to kill with a double strike lightning at a power of 99 ) dont know whats good to sell or has better use for magic casting.. i found the milk and the stake are great for more casting per turn..

I have only tested it on the Garnet Bracer. I was able to get a second one. I am unsure about the higher level items though.

Carter Leah It depends on the character you are using. The purple guy for example is very hard to get him to go in any real direction. The best tip I can give is to pull the stick OPPOSITE of the direction you want to go and tap the button. if you have trouble hitting the middle bumper try moving to the next stage with more bumpers about.

i figured it out, but now after getting several rolls in a row i can't get any more, every time it bounces off the middle ball it doesn't give me a reward despite having all the gold orbs filled.

Carter Leah Sorry I wasn't more clear. For each stage you can only get the jackpot 4 times (represented by the 4 circles at the top of the meter) once you have got it 4 times you need to kill the fire imp type boss of the stage. once you do this it says new stage and the meter resets for your 4 tries. Repeat :)

It can be pretty dull if you don't know about the rewards. I went through and nabbed all of them... took a MASSIVE amount of time haha.

My runs average around 45 mins i owuld say. It isn't an exciting farm but it is a solid one.

Mik haven't tried the 10k machine yet. I would say that the rewards on the top end are not obtainable twice. Would seem a little overpowered.

My game seems to be fully updated and working. They still spawn after chapter 2 but it seems to be harder with all the magitech around.

Ah yeah! This is even worse if you have a Wall Climbing type hero as it just climbs the wall and falls back down again >_

In any stage (stages are split up by bosses) you can only roll the slots 4 times. Then you have to kill the boss and the rolls will reset.

AMIRCAT 100 I was farming Cactuar around this point I think. I ended up being about level 40 before I hit chapter 2. Far over leveled by the way!

As far as I know you can recieve the items more than once. BUT I haven't gone back and tried the 99 reward more than once. So I cannot be 100% certain.

Is it possible you are wearing an accessory which changes your weapon every attack. It is called the Auto-Changer. Check what Noctis is wearing, if he has this equpping just take it off :D

Well I just tried it with the Gernet Brace(20 Treasures) and it did indeed give me another brace! Now.... I am currently not insane enough to try for the 99 reward again to see if that also works but I would assume so!

If you have bad luck it can take quite a while. If you get a lot of lucky 3 treasure rolls it isn't too bad. Trust me I know the pain. I had to get every reward for the video. That's about 700 so far.

About how long did it take you to get 99? An hour or 2?

i got 99 close to about 45 minutes to an hour. but i honestly didn't really know what i was doing most the time and just kept aiming for the monsters. i don't know much about pinball lol. but i didn't even know there were prizes. i was playing bc i thought perhaps theres was an online leaderboard for score. so i played for about an hour and stopped after i hit 1.2 billion points bc i was sleepy. no leaderboard so i was wasting time haha
