Pro tip: put the staircase in first. The staircase can potentially form part of a wall, and you can even put chests or barrels under the stairs as part of a storage room. On occasion I’ve also put a small washroom directly beneath a staircase 😉.

I like your wood striped floors and terracotta interior walls. But I also like checkered floors in certain rooms sometimes, especially subtle textures like stripped logs, polished stone/granite, or terracottas. I think it’s about each builder enjoying their own personal style and creativity, even if it feels “2012.” 😉

Tip: use slabs to add another floor to save space and maybe add a frame with logs for a finishing touch

that doorway to rooms dont seem really good tbh, buti like the foor desning and you could use some more sights foor interior walls, and also recomend for walls roof, dont make it seem flat make sure it is kinda half ball. or it has like some shape and for decorations, you could use some more blocks like campfires cauldrons and iron bars, its just an tip. and make sure that most blocks have more conections. like for stairs, use slabs or trapdoors

Why do I never see anyone light the floor. Torches or block light under top slabs scattered around the space lights the floor. Then the rest of your light choices are for ambience only. Many of my spaces have no visible light source.
