It's a miracle Sandeep Patil survived this and then went on to score 174 in the very next test

A year ago when Australia came to india Kapil Dev’s bouncer hit batsman Rick Darling. Kapil was so apologetic
@beefy19869 ай бұрын
Dude Pascoe decided to end his career soon after this. Because this incident rattled him so bad, he lost heart to bowl fast anymore. You are talking about an apology. Pascoe ended his own career.

very dangerous bouncer now non existence ball was very short to lure the batsman outside the off stump in which Austarian fast bowlers like Lenny pascoe and Dennis Lilie were esperts from west indies side Malcom Marshall used same weapon.

The ball followed him. Nothing he could fo about that. It's good that helmets are standard wear now.

Pascoe did that deliberately..he has done for many batsmen right from his county cricket days
@leighsoft3 жыл бұрын
he is a fast bowler, do you expect him to put it on a good length and get driven through the covers all day long
@momthegreatest3 жыл бұрын
@@leighsoft Fast bowler should have enough techniques than to target batsman's head
@leighsoft3 жыл бұрын
@@momthegreatest you obviously have not played the game before, fast bowlers have been using the short ball as a weapon for over 100 years and it will never change.

I think and firmly believe that Bouncers should be completely banned in modern era of cricket after tragic incident of Philip Hughes...
@beefy1986 Жыл бұрын
As much as I sympathize with the Hughes incident, nope. The bouncer is too critical for the game of cricket and bowlers. What do you expect bowlers to do?? Pitch it up and get driven all day?? I am all in favour of 6 bouncers an over being permissible. I feel sorry for Hughes and his family but to be quite honest, the helmet was not of a sound design and he didnt evade the bouncer properly. You cant blame the bowler or bouncer for that. You are a batsman. You have a bat and a helmet. Learn how to play or evade the bouncer. If you cant retire from cricket please
