If I had to choose just one, Lenawee probably takes the cake. Throw in a dusting of snow and Teddy Jaramillo on his first lap ever, and you have the recipe for #followcamfriday gold. Lenawee Trail begins at the top of Arapahoe Basin Ski Area after a reasonable gruesome climb to 12,500ft. I have witnessed professional athletes come unglued on this climb but it is worth every minute of suffering for one of the finest natural pieces of alpine singletrack in existence. It is always a pleasure to watch my friends ride a section of trail for the first time, especially one that I know like the back of my hand. Get out there and enjoy the high country this weekend. The leaves are changing and winter will soon take control of the alpine. Get it! This was ridden on my Yeti SB130lr. Teddy rides for Transition.

Love it! That's the style of riding Arkansas can't offer, unfortunately. We've got some newer 1,000 foot drop shuttled trails that are damn good, but that constant DH flow like that...nope. Ups and downs mostly, and I wish I got to do more long DH flow like this. Lighting was PERFECT for this video, which ain't easy with a GoPro. Everything was crystal clear, and it was fun watching this one! Keep 'em coming!

@natehills9388

You can't shuttle to the top. Colorado local or not. The ski area portion has to be climbed. Makes the descent all the better.

The climb up A-Basin is brutal...but worth it. And after you finish you have to ride down to Keystone and back up to A-Basin. I used to add a loop up Montezuma Road and down Webster Pass Road. That was extra brutal.

Don't get too excited about this trail. This and last summer the trail has been inundated by large groups of riders clogging up the key points on the trail, many slinging those stupid bluetooth speakers along to make sure everyone takes notice of them. It's not uncommon to have to wait your turn to get through sections on this trail because so many folks think that everyone else should wait for them to decide what they want to do. It got so bad this summer that I nearly turned around at the top and went somewhere else. Fighting congestion and arrogance ruins what used to be a great trail ride. And litter is increasing as well.
