There are a few commentators who can't stop talking. Telling the viewer what they can see for themselves. This commentator is one of them.

As per usual, the US commentators spend the whole bout patronising Lewis and explaining that his jab is weak and his strategy is wrong, while in the ring he pounds a decent opponent to oblivion.

@@jordanbyrd9821 Yea man Ray was a fucking beast who could take shots. Shows how amazing Larry Holmes was a little later into his comeback. Had Holmes been in fight shape when he came back to fight Tyson like we was with Mercer, might have gone different. Not sayin he beats Tyson but coulda been much closer.

@Godshonestruth For sure and that Same Mercer that went to war with Lennox ate up some of his best punches and what he did to Tommy Morrison, tells me more than enough of what he can do to even a prime Tyson, it would be very interesting.

@@jordanbyrd9821 no doubt. Would have been great. Even Ike Ibeauchi versus Tyson. Versus Bowe. Vs Lewis. David Tua versus Tyson is another amazing matchup. So many great fights never happened in the 80s and 90s wherease in the 70s it seems they all met

This announcer clearly doesn’t know anything. Lewis had already beaten Bowe. Why should he fight him again. And comparing the two boxers careers. Lewis was the superior fighter. Lewis beat everyone that he faced.

lewis is lucky,he is a big man 6.5 ft and have long reach...the average boxer he fight from 5.11ft to 6.1 ft now that a problom for a shorter boxer....

That's the reason I'm not a fan of Lenox Lewis, because every time he boxes he doesn't play fair. Lenox Lewis definitely bends his opponent's head down. This always happens when he starts to feel like he's going to lose, like when Lenox Lewis fought world legend boxer Mike Tyson, if Mike Tyson didn't cheated by bending his head down and then being hit by Mike Tyson, he wouldn't lose, because at that time Lenox Lewis had already been beaten by Mike Tyson.

Not really,Wladimir is more of a defensive fighter and gets in clinches by his style strategy,if you mean that Vitaly the older brother is a brutal assassain I will say a big Yes,he has the same killer instinct like Lewis that is the reason which made him quit boxing because eventual rematch with Vitaly would be for sure A big loss for Lewis(anyway he was much older than jump rising boxer like young Vitaly😊)
