I appreciate the effort you put into gathering this data, but I would suggest using adaptive settings per game to achieve smoother FPS rather than focusing on quality. In my experience, adjusting the resolution to 900p or 720p, and scaling to a stretched resolution of 1440x1080, improved the performance of games like Valorant, CSGO, Apex Legends, and XDefiant on my Ryzen 5600G Processor. I understand how difficult it is to record and edit these videos, and I'm not saying you did something wrong by putting these results up. However, I think making the games more playable would be helpful. For example, my 5600G played Warzone in 720p Playable Settings at a stable 55-60 FPS. Thanks for the video, and keep up the good work. In my opinion, if the game is able to load and push 22 FPS, it can be improved to 45+ FPS by adjusting the settings a bit.

Laptop APUs like this are designed to work around 720p max low setttings, not 1080p, not 1440p, not 4k. They can play videos at those resolutions but, for gaming you really want to drop that res.

And for those saying to themselves... "But 720p resolution sucks, blah blah blah" 720p is a resolution and it's just fine when used in a proper scenario... Say a 15.6" or less laptop screen on a Laptop with a Laptop APU designed for such a use case. The more you know.

To be fair this laptop isn't designed to do any gaming. So it's quite impressive that it can handle light games like minecraft smoothly.

Im buying this for simple entertainment but also maybe play a few indie games off this thing. I already have a game console and wont plan on getting anything beefy for a while. Knowing this thing can run a lot of indie games you can buy off steam makes me excited to get it even though it wont be my central place for gmaing.

The main problem is probably onboard/unupgradeble single channel ddr5 ram. APU systems need atleast dual channel rams.

My ideapad can barely open up Google chrome without lagging. I personally think it's a 2.5/5. The ideapad 1 wasn't made for gaming and it can't handle it.

Not really use same GPU core but better cpu might net you a tiny bump honestly better or worse ram would be a larger factor than better cpu if your fishing for a few more fps

i3 1215u have better multi core and single core performance than r3 7320u, but r3 7320 have better power efficiency . For me, i prefer i3 1215u.

Depends on the manufacturer of the laptop, some may have higher clock speeds than others but still have the same specs so it isnt gonna make it bad but just tiny differences in performance.

Actually new 610m rdn2 integrated gpu is not even close to older vega3 or vega6 integrated apu.... don't buy it if you are planning for lite gaming

Yeah 610m, is the lowest entry in AMD integrated graphics, but it is somehow comparable to vega 3, but not even close to Vega 6.

All the 5s use the same GPU core so it would be barely any performance difference unless one has better ram

@@baconbliss4796 ram really gonna make that difference on gaming? i have the same laptop in the video my ram usage doesnt even gets to 2gb while playing gta 4 on medium graphic settings just the gpu usage that oscilates between 50-80% usage, the fps stands between 25-35 depending on whats hapening on the screen. you think having 16gb ram or more instead of 8gb would improve my performance?

is not that 610M is bad, a lot of 7020u series laptops are not designed with upgradable DDR5 ram thus limitations here and there raw performance Vega is closer to 680m, 610m is like the bottom of APU but still superior than what Intel iGPU could offer somewhat with some AMD software tweaks

efootball 21 runs well. 720p low graphics at 45-60 FPS. But I haven't tried efootball 23. Fifa 23 maybe 20-30 FPS. Fifa 23 is currently free this weekend on steam, maybe I'll give it a try but fifa is harder to run than efootball.

@@medicgaming2705 Thing is, with DDR5 one RAM stick works like Dual Chanel as 2x32bit, instead of the previous 1x64 bit from previous gens. When you have 2 RAM sticks system shows as Quad Channel at 4x32bit
