I followed your instructions and it worked brilliantly - good job. The old internal drive did not initially show in Explorer, but I went into disk management by right clicking start button. I then right clicked on the 29GB unallocated drive and formatted it. It now pops up nicely in Explorer. Thanks again.

You have no idea how much I've suffered with that laptop. I tried everything to install a new system on that 32gb eMMC ssd. I find out that you can't use 1903 version due to disk space limitation and system requirements. Instead you must use 1809 and prior versions of Windows 10. That's the only way if you wanna use that 32gb ssd. Thank you so much. Have a great day.

Did your touch pad work immediately after you installed 1709 or did you have to install additional drivers?
