its well supported, go with 8gb ram version and you will be fine for long time, you can also upgrade ram in the future. autocad best works with intel processors, but it will also work with latest Ryzen 5 7520 and Ryzen 3 7320

How is your experience with this machine? The battery, any heating issues..?

@@azizbalti8467 No issue with the performance. I can even play games like monster hunter sunbreak at 60fps 1080p on medium setting. My only regret is the screen is not that good. And there's also no backlit keyboard. Battery life is decent. I use it plugged most of the time so I can't comment much on that. It have no heating issue so far even when I'm gaming.

@@mahmoud_benamor hi , i choosed the ideapad 5 i5 11th , 8gb ram , mx450 , 500gb ssd ... And I'm really happy with it , 8gb is more than enough, the battery is great, and i can play big titles like resident evil 7 easely with the mx450.

well it will work, it all depends of size and bitrate of 4k videos, its possible to have normal workflow, but processing could take longer time with bigger projects. its best to start with 16gb ram.

@@TechWatcher I'm getting ryzen 5 3500u, 8gb , 512 gb ssd at 29.5 k but isn't that processor a bit old and on benchmarks ryzen 3 5300u out performs ryzen 5 3500U that's why I'm confused.

First i ordered ryzen 5 3500U but after checking the benchmark score and keeping in mind the launch date gap/ generation gap of both processors i cancelled it and now thinking about Ryzen 3 5300u ? Kindly suggest what should i do as I'm hella confusion?🥹

@@utkarshdwivedi1923 I have ordered the R3 5300U, 512 Gb version. Even I was heck confused but then I decided to go with it because of the price factor. The processor beats the i3 11th gen in multithreads & competes with the i5-11 too in a few specs.

@@NikhilKumar-fb2dd mine got delivered today, and after checking it for a while i can say that i made the right choice for the price I'm paying as its fast and build quality also feels good. Display quality is good according to price and anti glare display but viewing angles are not that much good if more than 1 person is watching something on laptop as they are limited to 90° The sound feels kinda low. But everything else is quite good, the performance, keyboard, looks and everything.
