Hyper threading. CPU is boosting, consuming way more power with GPU power starved. They might need to fix this behaviour via bios updates. Try to turn hyperthreading off and you will see Improved performance at 30w.

I was going to tell him the same thing!! Lol. Set the os mode to efficiency. On performance, windows allocates most of the wattage to just the cpu which may be the reason why you're being throttled performance wise.

@@jonathantroyer2822 I'm curious about that as well. Definitely more research is needed because generally in the past, all these tech vids suggested putting windows in performance mode while gaming on a desktop or laptop. Now it seems the other way around.

The LLG fan is much thicker, as is the heatsink, it keeps up with the Ally in thermals just fine, if not better.

The thermals on the Go are actually much better than the Ally. I never see temps higher than 65C. Ally sits in the mid to high 70's.

What?? You realize this is playing AAA titles that are very gpu and cpu intensive, right? You can emulate switch games and play 5-8 hours as well. They saw that the consumer bought the Deck with a not so good specs and until now getting stronger in the market that has so little competition. They just HEY LETS PUT UP A MONSTER OF BEAST HAND HELD WITH THIS KIND OF SPECS AND PEOPLE WILL BUY IT, COZ THEY BUY A CRAPPY DECK WHY WOULDN'T THEY BUY MONSTER OF A SPEC. One thing they forgot is the overall ergonomics and users friendly of the device. Dont get me wrong, i think Lenovo Go has a great specs. But if they only iron out all the minor problem and updated it on the long run. But they are eager to take the slice of the pie. They got greedy. If they cant get there act together, this is how far the Lenovo Go will go. Having Monster of a Specs but fall short in everything.

Compare the steamdeck oled with the switch and switch has the last laugh. See how stupid that sounds? Ofc a less powerful handheld lasts longer. I personally wouldn't have minded playing at 30 fps on the steamdeck instead of 60fps on the legion go, but the fact that you can't download games via xbox game pass is a dealbreaker for me and many others.

When home then its 90% better expirience to play on pc than on this little gaming consoles with sh.tty batery and little picture+ no mouse and keyboard. :D
