Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB SSD is the best. In the Top 3 as for fastest read/write also one of the top rated for longevity or life span. yoga 7-15itl5 laptop motherboard, might be BIOS related but most likely the mobo has lane restrictions, it does not support any drive above 1TB SSD or any PCIe 4.0 NVMe m.2 SSD only a maximum of 1TB NVMe m.2 PCIe 3.0 ssd. If you install a new SSD with PCIe 4.0 ability it will only operate at the PCIe 3.0 data rate. When separating the back chassis cover, even though the yoga 7-15itl5 laptop is aluminum it still a soft metal and may bend. The main problem is getting the gap separation just to start prying open. Chances are you will need several guitar picks as they snap. Purchase a real jeweler bit kit for removing the T5 or T7 screws. Cheap pc tool kits include bits but often made of soft alloy and could easily strip the screw heads of your laptop and or Smart phone.

A Crucial P5 2TB (PCIe NVMe Gen 4) is working fine here.

Из видео я понял , что М2 разъем всего один. Значит Добавить SSD не получится. Надо только заменять. Жаль.

HI! i,m sorry but when you not dissconnect battery and trying changed ram or ssd , this can be problem in notebook. For example notebook not power on. We faced such a problem and not faced a bios problem. And in general, when replacing any part, it is recommended to remove the battery or power supply. Since they retain current and when replacing a part, this can lead to a short circuit. This is rare but there is always a chance
