Great video. Please consider doing a video on using the touchscreen mode. Pulling up the virtual keyboard, brightness and volume controls, folding it without turning it off as power button is on the side. Also my screen goes black when I plug it in. I’ll have to call Lenova about that. Thanks.

I got one of these last week. Mine didn’t have the fingerprint option but did have face recognition, and did come with a pencil. So far I’m very pleased with my purchase. I already had a wireless mouse from previous computers and this installed itself seamlessly.

The thunderbolt ports on my yoga 7i seem to work properly, but I can’t find any thunderbolt drivers installed on it. They show up as USB4, and I can’t find any installations online for thunderbolt drivers. Is that normal?

Thing I don't like with mine was the screen looked washed out colours but that's probably because I was coming from a 4k OLED. I will probably get the samsung galaxy pro 2 book or Asus 16x with OLED 4k screen

I'm considering one of these, how does it fair for moderate gaming ? Sims, houseflipper, so memory consuming but not necessarily big on graphics... :)

How do power on my Lenovo? I know where the power button is . Do I press and hold? Or press two times quickly ? I’m not doing it correctly as it always restarts because I hold and press.

Does this have keyboard backlighting

Do not get the wacom pens for this, stick to lenovo's pens. I have 2 wacom pens, different generations of their pens and there's so many problems with them. Change the orientation of the screen? Pen won't work properly. Using miracast? Pen won't work properly. Not to mention one of the wacom pens? Between my cousin and I (both artists) it took us EIGHT, TRIES, to get a working pen. And even then? His failed after 2 months and mine randomly stops writing. I got Lenovo's first active pen and amazingly has NO problems as mentioned above, works really nice for drawing and is a cheaper than BOTH of the pens I got by a wide margin.

I was lucky enough to get the UK model in a Lenovo sale with 12700H CPU,32gb ram and 1tb HD larger battery and Arc graphics, battery life is reasonable, build quality is exceptional and the only failing i could give it is that its quite heavy for such a small package and its a slippery little sucker to keep hold of so care need to be taken not to drop it !!

For writing (and drawing) it's not working qell for me. I am soooo sad, because i have now to work for 4j with this laptop in shool and it's very important for me to be able to take notes (without scratching the screen because you have to use a lot of pressure, and notes that are readeble) I spended all my money on this device, onowing for the next 4 years, i can't afford nother laptop. So yeah, i'm soooo disapointed with the touchscreen/pen functions 😕

All around a decent laptop, but with some serious design flaws. It took me about 6 months of gentle steady use of this laptop before it failed. But it failed in the mechanical design. I carefully open my laptop every time because I am a normal person and one day the right hinge broke away from the top cover. Upon closer inspection this is a plastic piece that was design rather poorly, and from the looks can break pretty easily from the stress of daily use. This is a horrible design, but to make things more fun, they used far more glue than humanly necessary to hold the screen onto the back plate! Good luck getting it out without cracking it or damaging it from the heat required to separate it, if you are brave enough to try this repair on your own. The designers of this computer put in these flaws for the purpose of requiring replacement halfway through this devices shelf life. Personally, I would avoid this laptop, as it is deigned to fail.

Never get a Lenovo with those type of hinges. Look all over the web. They crack and break the screen within a year!!!!

16:10 screen ratio make it shorter in length than regular 16:9 15.6 and I really do not like that.

I bought this expensive laptop after watching your KZfaq review. Sadly you have missed out on serious design and manufacturing Defect in this particular product. The design defect in this product is that once the micro SD card is inserted, it does not have any mechanism to eject the SD card and you have to physically pry it out with a pin or something sharp which may cause damage to the Micro SD card or the loading port or pins. This is a very serious lapse in product design and sorry to say to say you missed out on this point without physically checking this hardware issue.
