I am using it and found it very awesome. I charge only upto 78-79% and it gives me a battery backup of about 7 hours 50 minutes( doing python programming, CPP, KZfaq video, web surfing)

@@ronin2885 see it's up to you. I purchased it because it's perfectly slim small size with QHD display(it's awesome better than Mac but glossy) also 4 speakers( amazing sound on high performance mode ) but you have to compromise with graphics(iris xe). Battery is fine(as it's 360° pen and touch). But if battery is your main priority then go for Mac. No laptop can beat Mac in terms of battery( but you have to compromise in slimness/display/weight/no touchscreen). That's all my friend you are the ultimate user, so decide wisely.

Got it 111111. It's excellent in almost every term! Unfortunately I did not get anything close to the advertised battery life. Maybe 5hrs. But other than that it's amazing! The display is gorgeous AF and like he mentioned, the audio gets pretty loud though a bit tinny in high volumes. Performance is top notch. It does get pretty warm near the processor under loads, especially on battery but unless you keep it on your lap, it won't be an issue. Really good one!

Lenovo recently released the Yoga 9i with Intel's 13th Gen processor at a lower price point compared to the previous 12th Gen. However, I'm confused about whether I should wait for the release of the Yoga 7i with Intel's 13th Gen processor (nothing announced about this model yet). Based on the specifications, I can see that the 13th generation has a slightly higher clock speed, and some have mentioned that the 12th generation may run hotter than the 13th generation. I'm not sure if the difference between the two generations is significant enough to wait for the release of the Yoga 7i with 13th Gen.

Yet to find one with optimum specs personally (OLED display, 16 GB DDR5 RAM, 512 GB M.2 SSD, latest gen Intel/AMD chipset, WiFi 6E & BT 5.2) - the ones that I've found are unreasonably priced around ₹1.5L. @@sk-oo3er Not yet 😅 Have zeroed down on couple of Lenovo laptops - Yoga 7i & Yoga Slim 7i Pro X; I didn't find much options in HP for 14 inch which is non-negotiable for me... Only problem is that the readily available configuration of those 2 options isn't ideal for me so have to opt for customisation which has a 1-2 month waiting period... For your use case, I feel you should consider the ThinkPad series (T14s, P14s) or if your budget allows then go for higher end ones like X1 Carbon etc. Alternatively, if you aren't fussy abt screen size & are ok with 13.5' screen then go for HP Spectre (expensive but worth it because of the quality & specs offered compared to other cheaper HP variants)

There are tons of professional advanced development and research related softwares which still only works on windows. I have used mac for quite while and to be honest except battery life I'm not that impressed with the overall system. If you're someone whose battery life is the highest priority definitely get a Mac its built quality is top notch and you get fantastic battery life. But if you are someone who is even a casual gamer who games one in whole even light gaming sucks on a mac for now. 😭There is just workarounds nothing works flawlessly. At least for now. For light usage of browsing internet etc mac is good choice for ~1 lakh budget

I don't get it. If you're spending 1L you want it to run heavy tasks which the macbook air cannot. Plus it can't run games. You can easily get good 3060 laptops around 1L which will do all of this and if it's a Ryzen laptop the battery life will be good as well so you can do normal tasks on it as well. If you're buying it for doing basic tasks what's the point of spending 1L? Those can easily be done on a 20k tablet. If you're a apple fanboi you can get a ipad as well for like 30k and it will do everything that air does. Makes zero sense

@@ni007ck4 that's the thing, even M1 CAN on paper do heavy tasks but because the Air doesn't have any cooling it gets to 105 degrees and throttles HARD. So you wanna get the pro for such tasks and at that point it's WAY more expensive and you can get 3080 laptops at that price point which again, make the macbook pointless Edit: They're only a good buy for fanboys tbh, if you're not one you will find a better purchase thx to apple's pricing lmao

@@sarthaktiwari8515 here comes the blind judger. Eventhough intel has e-cores it still has worse battery life than even 6800h(hs) model. So, he is right by asking for amd variant cause it will give better battery life + less heating since gaming is not the main criteria for this 2in1 type.

Intel has not been pro consumers they cater to stock holders and they want to profit as much as possible. However AMD since the ryzen series have been able to pull up Intel's collars and get them to give us value for money processors. But I need to say that Intel's pockets are too deep and they have been able to innovate so much that AMD since their 4th gen processors(5xxx) had to start playing catch-up again since 12th gen processors from Intel. In US it might be a tie between price to performance between AMD and Intel but here unfortunately AMD is always like 5k more expensive than an Intel processor of similar capabilities to AMD's. I am thankful to AMD for giving competitive processors! But they need to bring more development centers and assembly centers to India. They would not only reduce the costs in India but also provide more employment to Indians.

Which screen size is ideal in laptops? 14 or 15.6? Please share your opinions.
@Ivy_Inquisitor
@Ivy_Inquisitor Жыл бұрын
I guess you are asking everyone. Personally I prefer 14" because I don't need so much of work space since I don't multitask on a laptop a lot but I use it to code a lot. If you want to install Linux with window tiling manager with so many windows open in a single screen then better to go for bigger size screen, but if that was the case I would go buy myself a 32 inch/48 inch tv/monitor. If coding is a priority then make sure to get a laptop that has good keyboard, it becomes far too important since you would type a lot. Edit: but realistically even if you are thinking like a 17" laptop how much difference is it going to make in terms of useable screen real estate wouldn't you be better off getting a big monitor/tv with memc connection instead of a laptop in that case?
@mayurdahiwale5907
@mayurdahiwale5907 Жыл бұрын
If portability, single window office apps, small 'n light weight is your priority, 14" is okay... If you consume media, gaming, multitasking, editing, go for 15.6". I'd also suggest to visit any laptop store and see the size difference for yourself, so you can make a decision based on your personal use case :))

If getting modern thun bezels laptop then try to get 15.6 if possible they are also very small these days. But don't make 14inces a deal breaker if a better laptop with better display is available in 14 inch then get that.

Any size is good, but laptop specifications are the most important. i used 14 inch(HD) from 2011 to 2016 and watched movies and played games and screen size did not seem small to me, then I shifted to 15.6 inch(FHD) and in the start screen size seemed big because I was used to 14 inch but now its normal, If I shift back to 14 inch for some reason(maybe to get 4k display) then it will take 1-2 months to adjust. So basically what I'm trying to say is it does not matter much.

People who are all content makers, Please stick to mac. Battery life is poor and it will come max 4 hours when editing. When I open a support case they told me not to use a fast charge as it will damage the battery in long run.

@@drishalballaney6590 QA in terms of consistency in keyboards and material consistency might be true but the construction is rigid and I found them to be really tough, I have even seen in action how tough they were when my friend who was travelling in a bike dropped the laptop and there was no damage to the screen, regarding inconsistency I have seen some keyboards being mushy to type and others rigid in typing experience, regarding firmware well I have had no complaints there since the problem I find with most laptop making OEMs is the Linux support they offer except for maybe System86 laptops ThinkPad is close to the top(thanks IBM) but it seems like I am yet to see someone who would use t14, E14, P14 with windows which might have these problems you seem to be suggesting which I cannot say for sure because I don't know, everyone I know who owns the laptop have Linux installed with it. There are few folks I know are stuck with it(and has to use windows) because it's their company laptop, but they turn on their terminals and ssh into a Linux production server so I am not sure if they will have complaint of using Thinkpads. But I think no college goers will choose it ever because it offers crap configuration, only the keyboard is great which hardly a consumer will use unless he is a serious coder. Basically it's a producer(coding/programming)product not a consumer product. If people want entertainment they should look else where.
