i love these reviews. the sound test especially. specifically the part where he just lifts up the entire laptop, inches away from the mic, plays a sound and calls it a sound test. just great production we got here.

Just ordered this laptop. I feel like it’s a very well rounded laptop for the price. Thin and light, very efficient processor, great battery life, 120hz screen and a dedicated gpu

You haven't spoke much about the speakers, i'm curious about all the next generations windows laptops and if companies will use all the heavy feedback on the speakers to improve the sound quality at least a lil bit..

@@themack5131 it is possible i just had the luck of the draw but my lenovo 7 14" from february last year, hinge broke inside and then broke the glass (i was not aware the hinge was broken internally and when i went to close it, the glass spidered). lenevo did nothing. camera has never worked, again lenevo did nothing (within warranty) microphone is better on a 6$ two pair of headphones from the dollar general. mouse pad hasnt worked for about 5 months. the keyboard is just the keys you see, nothing more--no symbols or anything (the alt sequence dont work) fingerprint scanner will quit working for months at a time randomly. speakers are okay. no ports. battery is okay. fan spins but laptop is always 108 or higher (at least since i purchased the temp gun and was checking it--i dont check anymore). within warranty nothing was done. i live in a van so my laptop is litterally glued to the desk. i only (used to close it when i was done, to protect it from other sht in the van while driving) now it stays open. all this within warranty (maybe not the fine print) and lenevo did nothing. one year man. one year. my first laptop lasted 11 years and i was an abusive angry little child. ive bought stupid sht before.. i have a rubber chicken lol but this laptop has been by far the worst purchase ive ever made.

You say it goes all the way flat. Isn't it a 2-in-1? I just the YOGA 7 arctic and it says it turns into and tablet with a stylus. How come this video didn't mention that?

If you're considering one of these, I highly recommend looking into the Asus flow x13 as well. The Asus is (usually) actually in stock at best buy. You can get it w/ a ryzen 9 6000 hs series, 3050ti, also in a thin n light form factor, with a 120hz screen. It's also 360 degree flipable

two downside from Flow X13 for me are: first one, the ssd form factor is limited to m.2 2240 only. Second, the screen response time is so terrible for a gaming laptop in 20ms++, and that's not ideal for FPS gamer. this yoga slim 7 pro x has better screen response time, i've tested it in FPS game and no ghosting there, also yoga screen support nvidia gsync and advanced optimus.

@@ragaadin9408 That's true. The display is probably better on the yoga. I am a big fan of the form factor and capacitive stylus support of the Asus, but I don't play a many FPS games. I will say, I have no issues running rocket league/trackmania at about 115fps though, and the DDR5 memory is pretty neat. SSD speeds haven't been an issue for me, but there are definitely trade offs to both

In the video you mentioned that this version has Laptop RTX 3050 gpu in it, however there is no Nvidia sticker, but there is AMD Radeon sticker there...(or is that just iGpu sticker for some reason)?

Yeah don't think this has a Nvidia GPU EDIT: Checked the specs online and this should have the 3050 Nvidia maybe they just didn't want the sticker on it idk

stickers are promotional and requires money probably nvdia didn't paid to put on stickers because their gpu are selling well so why pay extra for something which can sell itself. In dell xps series you will never find stickers because dell doesn't allow it. Stickers are just optional it depends on the company whether they want to put them or not

Its terrible, bought the laptop last week and will be returning it. It lasts about 4 hours on full charge with the Intel version so I guess the AMD will be a bit better but not by much. It's kinda sad because otherwise the device is pretty good - even the touchpad is pretty good

@@pijen Yeah but Ryzen 6800 has a pretty beefy graphics processor now. I wonder why so many notebooks featuring this APU ship with an external low-/mid-range GPU that is not thaaat much faster. This makes AMDs work on the graphics unit of the new Ryzen generation completely useless.

According to the spec sheet, the higher prized "X" model shown here only features USB 3.2 while the non X model has a full 40 Gbit USB 4.0 port. Seriously, that sucks.

Don't think it's like that. Intel varient would be having the USB 4.0 thubderbold port, whereas AMD doesn't support 4.0 yet, so that would come in USB 3.2

@@deepak_4587 I'm explicitly referring to the spec sheet from the non X Model with AMD processor. Btw there are a lot of reports around that AMD Rembrandt (Ryzen 6000 series) for the first time features USB 4.0.
