The X230 is a TANK of a laptop. Excellent keyboard, excellent build quality, easy to work on, spill-proof, very upgrade-able. The fact that you can get these used in good condition for rock bottom prices is amazing.

Description Actuality-Core i5 processor -Core i3 processor-128 SSD GB -300 GB-Model x220 -Model x220iAlso there are some minor things too📼>JustU.Faith/ThinkpadX?葺 like the g on the keyboard not really working that well sometimes, and when it arrived the screen was kinda dirty too. But, this is used so that doesn't really bother me. Overall the product works fine I just have an issue with the misleading description of it, so be careful. Show less

This is an excellent video except that it is not shown how to transfer the trackpad from the old palm rest to the replacement palm rest. Thanks for posting.

This video is misleading as all the Palm Rest replacement parts available (at least here in the UK) seem to be supplied without a Trackpad fitted, which is not detailed in his video.

@@LenovoSupport i have an x230 laptop type 2325, this currently does not have a fingerprint reader, i would like to replace the existing palm rest for one iwth the reader, can you provide the part number for this?

@LenovoSupport I am looking to replace my battery for my X230, as power manager shows its storing 37% of its original charge capacity, can you let me know what you think of Duracell laptop battery? i was looking to go for a 9 cell replacement genuine or OEM.

To check to certified parts for the battery, please enter the serial number here lnv.gy/2UveGsQ. Then, go to the Parts & Accessories, and click on Find Parts (Current Product).
