Staining with Rit dye!
Debbie starts by using black Rit dye and then sanding it back to make the grain stand out. We follow up with 2 coats of Royal Purple Rit dye.
Through a bit of trial and error we discover the best ways to apply, sand back and blend the color in using clean shop rags and a touch of water.
