Numbers dont Lie. Messi is far away from any other player... He is the best dribbler, striker, passer, assister, the best playmaker, one of the best freekicker if not the best, and that is a single player, that is Leo Messi, and has the best Vision of the Game. And football today, its much harder to play than 40 years earlier, today u have more rules, more and better tactics, better trainer, better players, better physical condition from all players and all is definily better. So what Messi actually did in hes career till today, that is imposible that this will be happen ever again. Never done somebody befor, never will happen again. Messi is more than Maradona every day when he play, and even when he dont play. And thats a Fact. Numbers dont Lie.

I am 58 years old. I watched Maradona live. And for many years I thought he was the best player in the history of football. I'm a huge fan of his, but I totally disagree with this stupid comment. Messi is by far the best of all time. All of the things that Maradona did in a few matches and that we define as extraordinary, Messi made ordinary by doing in many matches. There will never be anyone like Messi again. He is alone at his level and there is no one who can reach him.

You lose any semblance of objective understanding when you said that Maradona was a trillion times better than Messi. There is no one that has observed these two players that would make this absurd statement. As a matter of fact, they would more than likely say that Messi is far and away the better more complete player. Again, look at the numbers, the trophies, the impact whether starting or coming off the bench to save the day. What Messi has done for the length of time that he has been competing is unheard of. Neither Maradona or Pele have done this for this length of time.

You are arguing against your own statement... there are alot of great players but never the consistence of Messi that's what sets him apart.
