It's pronounced SAY-er. I had occasion to see him live at The Troubadour in Hollywood back in the '70s at the height of his popularity. Packed house. I stood about six feet from George Harrison (of the Beatles) and watched this guy bring the house down. He was amazing.

I met Leo Sayer in our local Tesco Store about 15 years ago. He is very small. By the way he would have been 28 at the time in 1976

Recommend that tou listen to it. Leo had another big hit with, "You Make ME Feel Like Dancing." Yes, that was a saxophone playing sweetly.
