The Irish people wanted him to boycott the white house visit this year... Leo is not popular due to his neo liberal policies dismal failure on providing affordable housing. he's also taking heat from both the left and right on his immigration policies, for very different reasons... But I have to give credit here, he delivered about as forceful message as he could, within the constraints that he operates under, to Joe Biden. I still think his party should not have blocked the Occupied Territories or the Illegal settlements bills though...

The Biden Admin were furious over his attack on US policy vis-a-vis Israel, and his highlighting of the US's involvement in the genocide of Gaza. How dare he criticize Israel and the US! And in the same room as the president! When I saw the video of him quoting Biden's son, and making a comparison between the Irish Famine and the famine being imposed on the population of Gaza (Biden's descendants purportedly emigrated to America to escape the Famine), I knew his days were numbered. “To know who rules over you, find out who you are not allowed to criticize.”
